The present invention relates to a panel-shaped molded product having a laminated structure which is produced from a resin and used for side doors, back doors, hoods, roofs, etc., and exhibits a more excellent finishing accuracy without occurrence of bleed-out along an inner periphery of a frame part and fine distortions on a design part. The panel-shaped molded product of the present invention is a molded product having a laminated structure which is obtained by injection-molding the frame part () on one surface of the plate-shaped design part () wherein an inner peripheral portion () of the frame part () is closely attached to the design part, and has a thickness changing region where a thickness of the frame part is reduced toward the side of a center of the frame part such that a ratio between a width of the thickness changing region and the thickness of the frame part (), and a ratio between a width of the thickness changing region and a width of the frame part () are respectively adjusted to satisfy specific relationships.

Panel-shaped molded product

An apparatus for introducing a pressurized gas includes a pressurized-gas supply-source, a plurality of measuring tanks, a first pressurized-gas supply-line, pressurized-gas supply valves in the first pressurized-gas supply-line, second pressurized-gas supply-lines and pressurized-gas discharge-control valves disposed in the second pressurized-gas supply-lines. A combination of the measuring tanks is determined on the basis of the amount of a pressurized gas required for forming a hollow portion in a molded article, and the pressurized-gas discharge-control valves disposed in the second pressurized-gas supply-lines are controlled on the basis of the above determination.

An injection-molding apparatus comprises a mold assembly having a first-molten-resin injection portion for injecting a first molten thermoplastic resin into a cavity of the mold assembly, a second-molten-resin injection portion for injecting a second molten thermoplastic resin into the cavity, and a pressurized-fluid introducing portion for introducing a pressurized fluid into the second molten thermoplastic resin injected into the cavity. The injection-molding apparatus also comprises a first injection cylinder communicating with the first-molten-resin injection portion, and a second injection cylinder communicating with the second-molten-resin injection portion.

Method for injection-molding an article having a hollow portion

A chassis is formed of a one-piece thermoplastic or thermosetting resin body. A bottom member extends in a bottom plane, and has at least three side members extending in respective planes. Junction portions join the bottom member and the side members. Ribs are intermittently molded as one piece to bottom member and to side member and extend from the bottom plane from the bottom member through the junction portion to the side plane of the side member. An opening portion helps to prevent angular deformation of the resin body between the bottom member and the side member from a desired angle between the bottom plane and the side plane when the one-piece body is molded by minimizing differences in the cooling rate at different parts adjacent to the junction portion in the one-piece body. The opening portion is located between the ribs at least adjacent to and along the junction portion. The opening portion has a length along the junction portion that is at least five/ten the length of the junction portion.
