Provided is a light irradiation device capable of safely detecting liquid leakage in the occurrence of the liquid leakage. A light irradiation device includes a light-emitting element, a cylindrical light source supporter having an outer wall surface on which the light-emitting element is disposed, a flow groove formed on the outer wall surface in an axial direction of the light source supporter, a reservoir that is communicated to the flow groove at a first end of the light source supporter in the axial direction and that is configured to allow liquid to be stored, and a detector configured to detect the liquid stored in the reservoir. The first end of the light source supporter is located at a position downward in the vertical direction relative to a second end of the light source supporter, the reservoir being disposed at the first end in the axial direction thereof.

Light irradiation device

A light source unit includes a plurality of light source devices connected together, wherein each of the plurality of light source devices comprises: a substrate on which a plurality of solid state light sources are disposed; a heat radiator including a joint surface joined to the substrate, a connecting part connected to any of the other light source devices, and a radiating fin for dissipating heat of the substrate; a housing to accommodate the radiating fin, the housing having, near the radiating fin, a first opening for distributing a gas; and a fan to distribute the gas to the radiating fin, and wherein the first openings of the light source devices different from each other are opposed to each other so that a clearance for distributing the gas is provided therebetween.

Light source unit, light source device, and method for forming light source unit

The light irradiation device includes a light source supporter having a tubular shape is closed on a side of one end, a plurality of light-emitting elements placed on an outer wall surface of the light source supporter, a tubular body extending inside the light source supporter in an axial direction of the light source supporter, a first flow channel formed between the tubular body and the light source supporter and having an annular shape when viewed from the axial direction; and a second flow channel formed inside the tubular body, wherein the first flow channel and the second flow channel communicate with each other on a side of one end of the light source supporter, and the tubular body contains a material having a thermal conductivity lower than a thermal conductivity of a material constituting an outer wall of the first flow channel.

Light irradiation apparatus including a light shield

A light source unit includes a plurality of LED elements disposed on a plurality of band-shaped wirings on a substrate. The LED elements on one band-shaped wiring are electrically connected by wires to an adjacent band-shaped wiring. The LED elements are disposed on the substrate in a staggered arrangement as a whole. The LED elements can be densely disposed without poor connection occurring in the wires connected to the band-shaped wirings, and effective cooling can be carried out without impeding the dissipation of heat from the LED elements. One or more damming channels are formed between each two adjacent LED elements on each band-shaped wiring. A non-effusion region is formed, into which no solder flows, between each two adjacent LED elements. The wires are connected to the non-effusion regions.

Light source unit

A light emitting module includes: a substrate; at least one light emitting element line including a plurality of light emitting elements that are arrayed on the substrate in a first direction; and at least one sealing lens sealing the at least one light emitting element line, and including a plurality of lens sections. The lens sections each include a spherical light emission surface having a convex shape, and are provided corresponding to the respective light emitting elements and continuous in the first direction. The lens sections each satisfy predetermined expressions (1) and (2).

Light emitting module and light irradiating apparatus

An LED linear light source includes an approximately rod-shaped light guiding member, at an end portion of which an LED is provided. The light guiding member is in an approximately arc shape in a cross sectional view taken perpendicular to an optical axis. The light guiding member has an upper face including a light emission face for emitting light and a lower face including a reflective face, which are arranged in parallel. A diffusing member diffuses light provided on part of an outer circumferential face adjacent to a light entering end face of the light guiding member. A light absorption member is provided in an outside of the light guiding member near at an end portion thereof.
