A vehicle latch, including: a claw rotatably mounted to a pin; a pawl rotatably mounted to pin; a single motor for electrically releasing the claw of the latch and for electrically moving the latch into an emergency mode wherein the latch can be mechanically opened via a handle operably coupled to the latch.

A dual output actuator for use with an active grill shutter system, including: a first output rotationally mounted about an axis; a second output rotationally mounted about the axis, the first output capable of independent rotation about the axis with respect to the second output and the second output capable of independent rotation about the axis with respect to the first output; and a gear rotationally mounted about the axis, the gear being capable of independently rotating either the first output or the second output by moving axially along the axis.

Dual output actuator

A door latch assembly includes an actuator housing, a first post, a first sector gear, a first inner release lever, a first spring, a child link, and a first motor assembly. The actuator housing has a housing floor and a side wall extending therefrom. The first sector gear has a first head defining a first set of teeth and a first arm extending from the first head. The first spring has a first spring first arm and a first spring second arm. The child link is pivotally mounted for rotation about a second post of the first inner release lever. The first motor assembly is arranged to pivot the first sector gear about the first post, such that the child link pivots about the second post between a first child link position and a second child link position.

Side door latch assembly

A latch assembly for use with a door includes a lock lever to lock the door in a locked position and to unlock the door in an unlocked position, a door ajar cam to rotate between a door open position in response to a door open condition and a door closed position in response to a door closed condition, a self cancel lever releasably engaged to the door ajar cam, wherein the self cancel lever is operated in response to the door ajar cam rotating to the door closed position, and a lock link selectively engaged to the self cancel lever, wherein the lock link is translated to a cancelling position in response to the self cancel lever operated from the door ajar cam.

An adjustment rod assembly includes an adjustment rod clip with a top portion, a bottom portion, and a clip connector coupling the top portion and the bottom portion, a lever to receive the bottom portion of the adjustment rod clip, and a cover, including a recessed cover to receive the top portion of the adjustment rod clip, and at least one retaining feature extending from the recessed cover portion, wherein the at least one retaining feature releasably engages the adjustment rod clip to prevent the rotation and translation of the adjustment rod clip.

A cable end fitting for use in a latch is provided including a sheath for surrounding a portion of a first cable and a second cable. A portion of the sheath, including a first end is positioned within a housing. A base plate is coupled to the second end of the sheath. A first bore and a second bore extend through the base plate and the sheath. The base plate retains the cable end fitting in a position in the latch.
