An image formation process is disclosed, comprising overlapping an imagewise exposed silver halide photographic material onto a processing element with an aqueous medium being present between the photographic material and the processing element to perform development, thereby forming an image in the photographic material, wherein the aqueous medium contains at least a color developing agent or a precursor thereof, and the aqueous medium having a viscosity of 10.0 to 15000 cp at 25&deg; C.

An image forming method is also disclosed, comprising superposing a processing element comprising a color developing agent or its precursor on an exposed silver halide photographic material to perform development of the photographic material to form an image.

A negative type silver halide photographic material having silver halide grains of a core-shell structure. An inner core essentially consists of silver bromide or silver iodobromide and a plurality of shells consists essentially of silver bromide or silver iodobromide. The shells of each silver halide grain have (1) an outermost shell containing silver iodide of 0 to 10 mol %, (2) a highly iodide-containing shell provided inside the outermost shell and having a silver iodide content at least 6 mol % higher than that of the outermost shell, and (3) an intermediate shell provided between the outermost shell and the high iodide-containing shell. The silver iodide content of the intermediate shell is 3 mol % higher than that of the outermost shell and at least 3 mol % lower than that of the high iodide-containing shell.

Negative type silver halide photographic material comprising silver

There is disclosed a heat-developable color light-sensitive material having an excellent preservability and capable of providing images having a superior discrimination and only a slight fluctuation of Dmin against that of the development conditions. The material comprises a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide, a dye donor and a compound represented by following Formula I: ##STR1## wherein X represents a group capable of splitting off in heat-development; Y represents the group of atoms necessary to form 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring; Z represents a substituent; and n represents an integer of 0 to 4.

Heat-developable color light-sensitive material

A heat developable color photographic material is disclosed, which has a high speed and lowered fog. The photographic material comprises a blue-sensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a binder, and a layer containing blue-sensitive silver halide contains a compound represented by the following formula I: ##STR1## wherein Z represents a group of atoms necessary for completing an aromatic ring or a heterocyclic ring which may have a condensed ring.

Disclosed are a silver halide grain comprising 8 or 12 concavities on the surface, and a photographical light-sensitive material containing a silver halide grain having 8 to 12 concavities on the surface. According to the present invention, there can be obtained silver halide grains having still higher sensitivity and also improved in the relationship of sensitivity-fog as compared with those of the prior art, and also a light-sensitive silver halide material by use of an emulsion containing said grains.
