The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent having low diffusibility, an acidic gas removal method employing the acidic gas absorbent, and also an acidic gas removal apparatus employing the absorbent. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises: a particular tertiary amine compound, such as, an alkyl dialkanol amine or a hydroxyalkyl piperazine; a halogen-free ionic surfactant; and an aqueous solvent. The embodiments provide not only the acidic gas absorbent but also an acidic gas removal method and apparatus employing the acidic gas absorbent.

The acidic gas absorbent contains an amine compound and water, and further contains superfine bubble containing inert gas wherein an average diameter of said superfine bubble is 150 nm or less. The acidic gas removal method provided here employs that absorbent. The acidic gas removal apparatus is equipped with a unit for introducing the superfine bubbles into the absorbent.

A laminated electrolyte membrane of an embodiment includes: a first electrolyte membrane; a second electrolyte membrane; and a nanosheet laminated catalyst layer provided between the first electrolyte membrane and the second electrolyte membrane and including a laminated structure in which a plurality of nanosheet catalysts is laminated with a gap.

According to one embodiment, provided is an active material including monoclinic niobium titanium composite oxide particles, and carbon fibers with which at least a part of surfaces of the monoclinic niobium titanium composite oxide particles is covered. The monoclinic niobium titanium composite oxide particles satisfy 1.5&#x2264;(&#x3b1;/&#x3b2;)&#x2264;2.5. The monoclinic niobium titanium composite oxide particles have an average primary particle size of 0.05 &#x3bc;m to 2 &#x3bc;m. The carbon fibers contain one or more metal elements selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co and Ni, and satisfy 1/10000&#x2264;(&#x3b3;/&#x3c3;)&#x2264; 1/100. The carbon fibers have an average fiber diameter in the range of 5 nm to 100 nm.

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent having low diffusibility, an acidic gas removal method, and an acidic gas removal apparatus. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises: an amine compound having a vapor pressure of 0.001 to 10 Pa at 20&#xb0; C.; a water-soluble polymer compound having a mass-average molecular weight of 900 to 200000 and not containing a functional group having a pKa value greater than 7 except for hydroxy; and water.

A total mass of the heterocyclic amine and the organic solvent is 70 mass % or more to 100 mass % or less of the carbon dioxide absorbent. Each of Rto Rin Formula (1) is H, oxygen double-bonded with carbon of the heterocyclic ring, CH, OH, or an alkyl chain optionally including a functional group. Xin Formula (1) is H, CH, CO, C(O)OCH, C(O)OCH, C(O)OCH(CH), C(O)OC(CH), C(O)OCH, C(O)CH, or C(O)CH.

Carbon dioxide absorbent and apparatus of separating and recovering carbon dioxide

The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent, an acidic gas removal method, and an acidic gas removal apparatus. The absorbent absorbs an acidic gas in a large amount and hardly diffuses in air. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises an amine compound having a sulfonyl group and two or more amino groups.

A catalyst of an embodiment includes a porous structure including aggregates of particles containing Ru and metal atoms M different from Ru. The particles are a metal oxide. A metal atom ratio of the metal atom M in a surface region of the porous structure is higher than that of the metal atom M in the porous structure as a whole.

A membrane electrode assembly of an embodiment includes: a first electrode having a first base, and a first catalyst layer provided on the first base, the first catalyst layer including a plurality of first catalyst units with a laminated structure, and the laminated structure including void layers; and an electrolyte membrane being in direct contact with both first surfaces of the first catalyst units facing each other among the first catalyst units, and second surfaces of the first catalyst units on the opposite side from the first base side. A portion is included where the electrolyte membrane exists over a region being at least 80% of a thickness of the first catalyst layer from the second surfaces of the first catalyst units toward the first base.
