There is provided a driving tool for driving a fastener to a fastening target object including: a contact arm capable of moving in a first direction by being brought into contact with and pressed against the fastening target object; a driving portion configured to start a driving operation of the fastener on condition that the contact arm moves by a predetermined amount in the first direction; and a restricting portion configured to restrict the driving operation performed by the driving portion when an inertial force is generated in the first direction.

Driving tool

A driving tool is provided with a driver for driving out a fastener from a nozzle, a balancer, and a balancer biasing member for biasing the balancer in a direction away from the nozzle. The balancer moves in the direction away from the nozzle by a biasing force of the balancer biasing member when the driver moves toward the nozzle.

Driving tool with reaction absorbing mechanism

A striking tool includes: a striking mechanism configured to strike a fastener into a member to be struck; a motor configured to drive the striking mechanism; and a clutch provided between the striking mechanism and the motor and configured to switch transmission and interruption of a drive force of the motor to the striking mechanism.

Striking tool

A driving tool is configured to drive fasteners shot from an ejection port into a driving target. The driving tool includes a trigger configured to carry out a driving action, a nose part formed with the ejection port, a contact member provided to be slidable relative to the nose part and is capable of being pressed against the driving target, and a contact detecting part configured to detect that the contact member is pressed against the driving target. The driving action is carried out when the contact detecting part detects that the contact member is pressed against the driving target and when the trigger is operated. The contact member is slidable to a side opposite to and beyond a tip of the nose part.

In an electric driving tool of the invention, when moving a driverhaving driven out a fastener upwardly from a bottom dead center position and making the driverto stop at a wait position, a wait position when a decrease of a residual quantity of connected fasteners in the magazineis detected is set to be lower than a wait position when the decrease of a residual quantity of connected fasteners in the magazineis not detected.
