An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes the following. A deflection controller generates delay time information to make phases of reception signals input to channels uniform according to a deflection angle. A channel selector selects a channel in which the reception signal is turned on or off so that the phases of the reception signals input to channels are different and which generates channel selection information. A reception delay interrupter provides the delay amount to the reception signal and which turns on or off the reception signal. An adder adds the plurality of reception signals which are provided with the delay amount and turned on.

An ultrasound image diagnostic apparatus includes, a transmitter to repeat alternating supply of first pulse signals and second pulse signals to the ultrasound probe, the second pulse signals being generated by polarity inversion of the first pulse signals; a receiver; a memory to store first sound ray data corresponding to the first pulse signals; an adder to add the stored first sound ray data and second sound ray data corresponding to the second pulse signals; a line-signal processor to generate fundamental line data and harmonic line data; a needle emphasizing signal processor to generate needle image data from the generated fundamental image data; a harmonic signal processor to generate harmonic image data; a synthesizer to combine the needle image data and the harmonic image data; and a display controller to display the synthesized image data.

Ultrasound image diagnostic apparatus

There is provided a first storage for storing digital reception beam data converted from a reception beam formed from an ultrasonic received signal; a first control component for controlling reading and writing of data from/in the first storage; a filter coefficient calculation portion for calculating a filter coefficient based on information on the reception beam, the information including a positional relationship between the reception beam and a transmission beam; and a first spatial filter operation portion for subjecting each of a plurality of the reception beam data including data of beams received in parallel from a single transmission beam to filtering processing for reducing a difference in image quality between adjacent beams based on the filter coefficient. Image data output from the first spatial filter operation portion are converted into scanning of a display monitor so as to display an image on the display monitor.
