According to one embodiment, a commodity information browsing system includes a shelf label apparatus including a first storing section and a first transmitting section, a portable terminal including a first receiving section, a notifying section, a second receiving section, and a display section, and a server apparatus including a second storing section and a second transmitting section. The first transmitting section transmits, by radio, one shelf label code among a plurality of shelf label codes. The notifying section notifies the server apparatus of the shelf label code. The second storing section stores association information representing a relation between the shelf label codes and commodity information. The second transmitting section determines, on the basis of the association information, the commodity information associated with the notified shelf label code and transmits the relevant commodity information to the portable terminal. The display section displays an image based on the commodity information.

Commodity information browsing system, server apparatus, and control program

A display shelf system includes a display shelf, which includes a plurality of placing tables which are adapted to have an article placed thereon. A plurality of transmission-type screens are arranged with the placing tables, respectively. A projector projects a projector image, and a light guide of the display shelf leads the projector image onto the rear sides of the transmission-type screens. The transmission-type screens have curved surfaces which are inclined to face toward a lateral direction with respect to a front of the display shelf, so that the transmission-type screens are easily viewable by viewers who are in the lateral directions of the display shelf.

Screens are positioned at front areas of respective placing tables which form placing spaces for placing an article. Each of the screens is a transmission-type screen capable of transmitting projection image light projected on a back side of the screen. A first optical system and a second optical system are arranged inside the display shelf. The first optical system leads first partial image light, which is included in projection image light projected from a projector in the display shelf, to the back sides of the screens. And the second optical system leads second partial image light, which is included in the projection image light, to at least one of the placing spaces.

When obtaining an ID code from a user who holds out an arm to a corresponding merchandise in a noncontact manner, respective information terminal devices accept a registration input of the corresponding merchandise. When accepting the registration input of the corresponding merchandise, registration merchandise information including obtained user identification information and merchandise identification information for identifying the merchandise corresponding to the information terminal device is transmitted to a server device. The server device stores and manages merchandise sales information for the respective ID codes from the registration merchandise information received from the respective information terminal devices. When the ID code is input from a settlement device, the merchandise sales information corresponding to the ID code is transmitted to the settlement device. The settlement device performs the settlement processing based on the merchandise sales information received from the server device.

An image display controller for a display shelf generates image data for a projector image which is projected by a projector arranged in the display shelf to be displayed on a transmission-type screen of the display shelf. The image display controller includes a monitor, an input device, a data communicator, a memory, and a controller. The controller obtains an editing background image from the memory and displays the editing background image on the monitor, and generates contents of a display image. Moreover, the controller sets a position of the generated display image in a desired position of a display area of the editing background image in response to an instruction inputted via the input device, and generates the projector image by combining the generated display image into the editing background image at the set position.

Electronic components and a conductor for connecting the electronic components are placed in the component positioning holes and the conductor positioning recess which are formed in a plate-shaped jig. The jig with the components and the conductor is placed over a mounting board, and the assembly of these elements is heated in a suitable furnace so that the electronic components are connected to the mounting board and the conductor simultaneously, thereby to reduce the number of steps of manufacturing the hybrid integrated circuit assembly.

A safety device for controlling an ignition circuit for an internal combustion engine associated with a transmission coupling the engine to a load comprises a thyristor adapted to permit, upon conduction thereof, the ignition circuit to produce a high voltage to fire a spark plug provided in the engine, a position-responsive switch adapted to permit application of a trigger signal from a power supply to the gate of the thyristor only when the transmission is in neutral, and a capacitor coupled across the gate and cathode of the thyristor to be charged by a voltage drop thereacross and to provide a trigger signal to the gate of the thyristor. Once the capacitor is charged it maintains a condition wherein the thyristor is turned on whenever the thyristor is positively biased even after the transmission is in gear. Thus the safety device disables the ignition circuit to prevent the engine from starting with the transmission in gear, but once the engine is started the transmission can be shifted into gear without disabling the ignition circuit.

An engine stopping device for stopping an internal combustion engine provided with an ignition system energized by a generator driven by the engine. The stopping device comprises a switch for making ineffective at least one of the elements of the ignition system, an actuator for actuating the switch into the operated state and a retaining device for retaining the switch in the operated state until the engine is brought to a standstill. Although it takes time for the engine to be brought to a standstill, the operator just has to give the actuator one touch operation, such as pressing a button, and may release the actuator before the standstill. Subsequent starting of the engine requires no extra operation.

Voltage regulator for a separately excited generator

This invention is directed to an automatic voltage regulator for a seperately excited generator comprising a main AC generator including an armature winding and an exciting winding and an exciter of an AC magneto generator associated with the exciting winding of the main AC generator. The regulator comprises a single controlled semiconductor switching device disposed in parallel to the exciting winding of the main AC generator and an output voltage detecting and control signal generating circuit which is adapted to detect the output voltage of the main AC generator and to apply a control signal to the controlled electrode of the controlled semiconductor switching device when the output voltage of the main AC generator reaches more than a predetermined value. The exciter of the AC magneto generator has an operating frequency higher than that of the main AC generator whereby the output voltage of the main generator can be regulated in a minute manner.
