A vaporized-fuel treating apparatus includes a pump part for controlling a flow of purge gas and a heating part for controlling driving of the pump part and for generating heat. At least a part of the heating part is placed to be exposed in an atmosphere passage. The pump part is either placed in the purge passage or arranged connecting to the purge passage.

Vaporized-fuel treating apparatus

A canister includes a plurality of activated carbon layers for adsorbing vaporized fuel and a purge pump for introducing purge air into the canister to cause purge gas containing the vaporized fuel to flow out of the canister. At least a part of the purge pump is placed in the chamber defined between the activated carbon layers.

Canister

In an evaporated fuel treatment apparatus, a controller performs first purge concentration determination control by gradually increasing a purge flow rate in increments of a predetermined amount and detect a purge concentration based on a detection value of the pressure sensor. As the first purge concentration determination control, the controller performs a control to prohibit changing of an operating state of the purge pump or changing of an open state of the purge valve until a detected concentration determination time at which a variation range of the purge concentration detected based on a detection value of a pressure sensor becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value.

Evaporated fuel treatment apparatus

An evaporated fuel processing apparatus includes a canister to collect vapor generated in a fuel tank, a purge passage to purge vapor into an intake passage from the canister, a purge pump provided in the purge passage, a first trifurcated valve in the purge passage between an exhaust port of the purge pump and an outflow port of the purge passage, a second trifurcated valve provided in the purge passage between an inflow port of the purge passage and an intake port of the purge pump, a first bypass passage between the purge passage upstream of the second trifurcated valve and the first trifurcated valve, and a second bypass passage between the purge passage downstream of the first trifurcated valve and the second trifurcated valve. Passages for the vapor and others are switched by switching the first trifurcated valve and the second trifurcated valve during operation of the purge pump.

Evaporated fuel processing apparatus

An evaporated fuel processing apparatus preventing evaporated fuel from being discharged out of a canister when residual purge gas is made to return to the canister and processed is provided. In the apparatus, an ECU performs residual purge gas processing operation of returning the residual purge gas into the canister and processing during halt of purge control. This operation includes a residual purge gas pressure-feeding process of pressure-feeding the residual purge gas with the air into the canister by the purge pump in a state in which the atmospheric passage is shut off and the purge passage and the second bypass passages are opened and an air discharge process of discharging the air in the canister outside via the atmospheric passage by opening the atmospheric passage while the purge passage and the second bypass passage are shut off.

A fuel vapor processing apparatus includes an adsorption passage has a first end connected to a fuel tank and a second end open to the atmosphere. The adsorption passage includes a first hollow chamber, a second hollow chamber, and a third hollow chamber. In addition, the adsorption passage includes a first adsorption chamber and a second adsorption chamber. The first adsorption chamber is positioned between the first hollow chamber and the second hollow chamber, and the second adsorption chamber is positioned between the second hollow chamber and the third hollow chamber. The adsorption chambers are configured to adsorb and desorb fuel vapor. A purge passage extends from the second hollow chamber toward an internal combustion engine. A bypass passage extends from the first hollow chamber to the third hollow chamber and bypasses the second hollow chamber. The bypass passage is provided with a shutoff valve that is open during a purge operation and is closed at other times.

Fuel vapor processing apparatus

A stator of a brushless motor may include a core; a bobbin including a pair of side surfaces, an inner wall, and an outer wall; a conductor wire wound by being overlapped in plural layers; and a resin layer covering the bobbin and the conductor wire. A profile of the conductor wire may become larger towards an outer circumferential side of the stator. Among portions of the conductor wire arranged along a rotary axis direction of a rotor on at least one side surface included in the pair of side surfaces and located on an innermost circumferential side of the stator in the respective plural layers, a portion of the conductor wire exposed to the resin layer and separated from the inner wall and the outer wall may be tilted from an inner circumferential side of the stator toward the outer circumferential side of the stator.

A rotator may be configured to be accommodated in a casing of a pump for sucking a fluid into the casing and discharging the fluid outside of the casing. The rotator may comprise an insert portion configured to insert a rotating shaft and one or more communicating openings. The one or more communicating openings may be disposed in a vicinity of the insert portion, and pierce the rotator in a direction along the rotating shaft. The rotator may be made of resin. A flow direction of the resin located around the insert portion and the one or more communicating openings may extend at least in the direction along the rotating shaft.

Rotator

A fuel pump may be driven by a brushless motor. The fuel pump may include a core; three supplying terminals configured to supply electric power to a coil wire fixed to the core and wound around the core; a resin layer holding the three supplying terminals; and a ground terminal held by the resin layer in a state of being insulated from the three supplying terminals, wherein the ground terminal may be electrically connected to a control circuit configured to control electric power supplied to the three supplying terminals.

Fuel pump

An electric pump may comprise a pump portion including an impeller, a motor portion configured to activate the pump portion, and a housing configured to contain the pump portion and the motor portion. The motor portion may comprise a rotor configured to activate the impeller, a stator configured to rotate the rotor, a control circuit configured to control a rotation of the rotor, a resin portion configured to cover the stator, and a heat transferring portion contacting the control circuit and the housing, thermal conductivity of the heat transferring portion being higher than thermal conductivity of the resin portion.

Electric pump

Each of the coils provided in a stator includes a wire introducing portion where a wire is introduced into a groove, an adjusting portion including the wire wound within the groove, and a plurality of wire layers each of which are aligned adjacent one another along an extending direction of a tooth. Among the plurality of wire layers, wires located on a periphery side-end in the odd-numbered wire layers are separated from an inner circumferential surface of the periphery by a half pitch.

Stator and brushless motor

A stator may include a stator yoke including one or more yoke portions extending along a circumferential direction of the stator yoke; and a cover configured of resin. The stator yoke may include: a contact part at which an end surface of one yoke portion among the one or more yoke portions in the circumferential direction contacts the other end surface of the one yoke portion in the circumferential direction; a first groove extending along an axial direction of the stator yoke in a vicinity of the contact part; and a second groove extending along the axial direction and disposed at a position spaced father away from the contact part than the first groove. The cover may include a filling that fills the first groove, and the second groove may be hollow.

Stator and electric pump

A fuel pump includes a housing, a pump section disposed within the housing on a first side thereof, a motor section disposed within the housing on a second side thereof and communicating with the pump section, and an upper body closing an end of the housing on the second side. A fuel chamber, into which fuel flows from the pump section through the motor section toward the second side of the housing, and a first branch fuel path, which is connected to the fuel chamber, are provided between the upper body and a motor. A discharge port is connected to the fuel chamber. A supply port is connected to the first branch fuel path, and the fuel in the fuel chamber is provided to the supply port through the first branch fuel path.

Fuel pump having pulsation dampening branch flow paths

A pressure adjuster may connect with a supply path connecting a fuel supply device and a fuel use device. The pressure adjuster may comprise a pressure chamber communicating with the supply path located closer to the fuel supply device than a check valve of the supply path, a communication chamber communicating with the supply path located closer to the fuel use device than the check valve, a valve member including a first pressure-receiving surface and switching between an open state and a closed state by pressure of fuel inside of the pressure chamber at the first pressure-receiving surface, a discharge path communicating with the communication chamber and configured to discharge fuel flowing from the communication chamber to outside of the casing when the valve member is in the open state, and a constriction portion disposed in the discharge path and constricting a cross section area of the discharge path.

Pressure adjuster

A stator may comprise: a core having a tubular shape and comprising a tooth extending toward a central axis of the tubular shape; a conducting wire engaging part projecting from an axial end of the core in an axially outward direction from the core; and a coil disposed on the tooth by winding a conducting wire on the tooth. An end of the conducting wire may be bent at a bending portion. The conducting wire may engage with the conducting wire engaging part at the bending portion. A diameter of the conducting wire at the bending portion may be smaller than a diameter of the conducting wire at another portion of the conducting wire.
