A refiner for separating and beating a material includes a conical type stationary shell including a first beating section; a ring-shaped stationary disc provided on an outer edge of the conical type stationary shell and including a second beating section; a rotational shaft; a conical type rotor attached to and supported by the rotational shaft including a third beating section facing the first beating section to create a gap between the first beating section and the third beating section for the material to pass through; and a ring-shaped rotor disc provided on an outer edge of the conical type rotor and including a fourth beating section facing the second beating section to create a gap between the second beating section and the fourth beating section for the material to pass through.

Refiner and agitating apparatus for papermaking

A screen apparatus includes a tank, a first cylidrical screen disposed inside the tank to form a first chamber, and a second cylidrical screen disposed outside the first cylindrical screen. The second cylindrical screen defines a second' chamber facing the first cylindrical screen and having upper and lower portions communicating with an inlet portion, and second&#x2033; chamber. A connection member has a groove facing the second&#x2032; chamber at an intermediate portion of the second cylindrical screen, and a passage communicating with the groove for discharging a paper stock. The paper stock flows to the second&#x2032; chamber through the upper and lower portions. A part of the paper stock passing through the first and second cylindrical screens is discharged through first and second selection outlet portions, and a part of the paper stock not passing throught the first and second cylindrical screens is discharged through the passage.

A refiner includes a driving source, a rotating shaft rotated by the driving source, a conical-type rotor attached to the rotating shaft, stators disposed in a casing to face the conical-type rotor. The conical-type rotor has a substantially cone-shape first conical portion and a substantially cone-shape second conical portion, and bottom portions of the first and second conical portions are joined together. The rotating shaft passes through top portions of the first and second conical portions, and the conical-type rotor is attached to the rotating shaft.

Refiner

In a cylindrical screen, a screen body has a height greater than its diameter, and is formed of a plurality of portions spaced apart from each other in a direction of the height. Each portion has slits laterally and vertically spaced apart from each other. At least one annular member is situated between two of the plurality of the portions of the screen body to be located radially inside an outer surface of the screen. The annular member has an annular concave formed in a middle thereof extending toward an inner side of the screen from the outer surface of the screen, and a width extending in the direction of the height. The width is greater than a distance of the slits vertically spaced apart from each other. Accordingly, a mat formed on the screen can be easily peeled off.

Cylindrical screen

A pulp heating apparatus has a heater main body which has a pulp introduction port for introducing pulp, a vapor introduction port for introducing vapor, a disperser for dispersing the pulp introduced via the pulp introduction port under a high temperature and a pulp exhaust port for exhausting the pulp dispersed by the disperser and is arranged in a horizontal direction. The disperser has a spiral vane section which continues spirally around a rotational shaft and discontinuous vane sections around the rotational shaft. The pulp introduction port is provided at a bottom section of the heater main body and is connected to an introduction passage. A screw conveyor is provided on the introduction passage. A forward end of the introduction passage faces towards the spiral vane section.

Pulp heating apparatus

A screen apparatus of the invention is provided with a tank for receiving a papermaking material; a screen situated inside the tank for dividing the tank into a first chamber and a second chamber to separate a foreign substance from the papermaking material; a first supply passage for supplying the papermaking material into the tank; a second supply passage for supplying the papermaking material into the tank; a stirring member disposed between an inner wall of the tank and the screen to stir the papermaking material introduced in the first chamber; a screened papermaking material discharge passage communicating with the second chamber for discharging a screened papermaking material outside the tank; and a foreign substance discharge passage communicating with the first chamber for discharging a foreign substance outside the tank. The first supply passage includes a first supply inlet located at an upper side of the tank, and the second supply passage includes a second supply inlet located lower than the first supply inlet. The papermaking material can be effectively separated by the screen.

A screen apparatus is formed of a tank for receiving a papermaking material, a cylindrical first screen for partitioning the tank into a first chamber and a second chamber, an annular second screen disposed in the first chamber, and a rotating member disposed in the first chamber. The first screen has a closed end at one side, an open end at the other side, and a plurality of first openings in a circumferential portion thereof. The annular second screen has second openings in a plate portion and a large opening at the center thereof. The annular second screen is disposed adjacent to the first screen at the side of the closed end, and the rotating member faces the large opening of the second screen and the closed end of the first screen. Also, the rotating member includes first agitating members facing the second screen, and second agitating members facing the second screen. When the papermaking material is supplied to the first chamber, foreign materials contained in the papermaking material are removed by the first and second screens, and refined papermaking material is discharged through the second chamber. Clinging and crushing of the foreign materials can be prevented.

Screen apparatus for papermaking material

A paper-making screen apparatus for separating foreign matters from paper-making raw materials is formed of a screen having a first annular end plate located at an end; a second annular end plate located at the other end thereof, having a plurality of openings for male screws; a plurality of interval keeping members secured to the first and second end plates to keep an interval therebetween, and having female screws on the side facing the second end plate; a plurality of male screws engaging the female screws; and a plurality of rod-shaped members connected to the first and second end plates, and annularly arranged parallel to each other at certain intervals. The first and second end plates hold ends of the plurality of rod-shaped members in between, and the second end plate is secured to the interval keeping members by engaging the male screws via the openings for male screws provided in the second end plate with the female screws and tightening the second end plate against the plurality of interval keeping members.

Paper-making screen apparatus

A papermaking screen apparatus is formed of a tank, cylindrical first and second screens and a stirring unit, which are disposed inside the tank. The tank holds a papermaking material, and includes a papermaking material inlet at a peripheral portion and a screened material outlet for removing a screened material from a center portion of the tank. The first screen is situated inside the tank to form an inner compartment therein connected to the outlet. The second screen is situated inside the tank and located outside the first screen to thereby form an outer chamber between an inner periphery of the tank and the second screen, and an inner chamber between the first and second screens. The second screen is at least partly overlapped with the first screen along an axial direction. The stirring unit is rotatably situated inside the tank and includes a first stirrer situated in the inner chamber adjacent to the first screen, and a second stirrer situated in the outer chamber adjacent to the second screen. When the papermaking material is supplied from the inlet and the first and second stirrers are rotated, the papermaking material passes through the first and second screens and flows radially inwardly of the tank to be discharged from the outlet through the inner compartment.

Papermaking screen

A papermaking screen of the invention is formed of first and second annular supporting members having a plurality of first and second recesses, and space holding members fixed to the first and second annular supporting members to establish a predetermined distance therebetween. In the invention, one or more elongated member groups having a plurality of elongated members are disposed between the first and second annular supporting members. The elongated members are disposed in the recesses and arranged parallel to each other to form a space between two elongated members situated adjacent to each other. Also, one or more intermediate supporting members may be situated between the first and second annular supporting members. The elongated member group may be situated between the first and second annular supporting members, between the intermediate supporting members, and between the intermediate supporting member and the first or second annular supporting member. The papermaking screen having good performance can be manufactured easily.

A double-disc refiner of the invention is formed of a driving shaft having one free end, a rotating disc fixed on the driving shaft and having a first rotating blade provided on one surface and a second rotating blade provided on the other surface thereof, and a crushing chamber surrounding the rotating disc, and first and second a material supply passages. On an inner wall of the crushing chamber, a first stationary blade is disposed to face the first rotating blade, and a second stationary blade is disposed to face the second rotating blade. An end surface of the one free end of the driving shaft is located in the first paper material supply passage, and includes projections to closely face a portion of the first paper material passage to prevent the material flowing through the first material supply passage from entering between the portion and the projections. Therefore, on the end surface of the driving shaft, pressure caused by the material is reduced to equalize spaces between the respective rotating and stationary blades.

Double-disc refiner

A refiner is formed of a plurality of first disc members provided on a casing and divided along a circumferential direction thereof; a plurality of first connecting members for fixing the first disc members to the casing; a plurality of second disc members provided on a runner with a rotating shaft, the second disc members facing the first disc members and divided along a circumferential direction thereof; and a plurality of second connecting members for fixing the second disc members to the runner. The refiner also includes engaging members provided on outer peripheral surfaces except for blade faces of the first disc members or the second disc members; and engaged members provided on at least one of the casing or the runner. When the rotating shaft is rotated, loads applied to the first connecting members or the second connecting members can be reduced greatly.
