An arrangement position determination method of an object, including: based on information of dimensions of a predetermined area and dimensions of a plurality of objects to be accommodated in the predetermined area stored in a storage section of a control device, searching for a position at which the object does not interfere with a boundary of the predetermined area and other objects in a first direction; and when there is no position at which the object does not interfere with the boundary and the other objects in the first direction, searching for a position at which the object does not interfere with the boundary and the other objects in the first direction at a position shifted in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.

Arrangement position determination method of object, control device, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, cargo handling device, and cargo handling system

A transport device has a position detection portion, a holding portion attached to an arm, a driving portion to drive the holding portion and the arm, and a control portion. A control portion controls the position detection portion and the driving portion to perform, as one cycle, a procedure to detect a position of a parcel, select parcels based on a predetermined condition, and set priority for the selected parcels, and a procedure to refer to a result of the detection, and cause the holding portion to take out one or more parcels from the accumulation portion in accordance with the priority to transport the parcels to a predetermined location, and excludes, from parcels to be taken out, a second parcel that is present within a predetermined distance from a first parcel and has priority lower than the priority of the first parcel, during the one cycle.

Transport device

According to the present embodiment, a control device of a conveyor system controls a moving device and a suction device to suction the transport target article so that an approximate center of an opening of at least one suction unit is located on a first imaginary line, and remaining suction unit is located on one end side in a longitudinal direction of the transport target article with respect to the first imaginary line, controls a turning-over section to be in a front-back reversing orientation, and performs control so that suction of the transport target article by the suction units is released after the suction device is in the front-back reversing orientation.

Conveyor system and conveying method

According to the present embodiment, a picking system includes a control device configured to control a suction device and a moving device, wherein when it is determined that a transport target article needs to be moved to a transport target position with a front side and back side of the transport target article turned over, the control device causes a suction unit to suction the transport target article, the moving device to transport the transport target article to a position above the transport target position, a turning-over section to set the suction hand to an orientation in which the transport target article is positioned above the suction unit and a direction substantially orthogonal to the suction surface is inclined with respect to the gravity direction.

Picking system

An unloading apparatus for unloading cargo items from a cargo group on a cargo bed includes a cargo bed lifting and lowering mechanism, a first detection unit that measures heights of cargos items and detects positions of cargo items forming the upper surface of the cargo group, a moving device that moves the cargo items to an unloading position, a second detection unit that detects whether a lower end of a cargo item being held by the moving device is above a position that is higher than the highest position of the cargo items at the upper surface of the cargo group, and a controller. The controller controls the raising and lowering of cargo bed in conjunction with the lifting of cargo items. The controller also controls the moving of the cargo items to the unloading position.
