A blood pressure monitor includes a cuff to be wound around a living body of a subject, a measuring unit for measuring blood pressure with said cuff wound around the living body of said subject, a detecting unit for detecting an inclination angle of said cuff, a specifying unit for specifying a current inclination level among a plurality of predetermined inclination levels upon measurement by said measuring unit, based on a result of detection by said detecting unit, a memory for storing therein the inclination level specified by said specifying unit, in association with blood pressure data measured by said measuring unit, and a notifying unit for providing notification of at least one past inclination level of the plurality of inclination levels stored in said memory and said current inclination level, in association with each other.

Blood pressure monitor

An electronic thermometer includes a hollow probe provided at its longitudinal tip with a temperature measuring unit having a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature, electrodes neighboring to the temperature sensor and arranged in the hollow of the probe, and a determining unit for determining whether temperature measuring unit is in appropriate contact with a measurement target portion of a user or not, based on a change in electrostatic capacity sensed using the electrodes.

Electronic thermometer

An electronic thermometer has a probe having a temperature measuring unit at its end, a temperature sensor arranged in the temperature measuring unit of the probe, a contact sensor arranged in a position shifter from the temperature measuring unit of the probe toward a thermometer body, a determining unit for determining whether a state of contact between the temperature measuring unit and a measurement target portion of a user is good or not, based on outputs of both the temperature sensor and the contact sensor, and a notifying unit for providing a notification according to a result of the determination by the determining unit.

A first thermistorand a second thermistorare arranged forwardly and rearwardly of a thermopile sensor. A thermopile chipis arranged and interposed between the first thermistorand an integrated thermistor. A sensor cover is mounted in contact with front and side portions of a can portionof a thermopile casing. A temperature or a radiant quantity of infrared rays on the front portion of the can portion is estimated from a temperature change of the integrated thermistor per second.

Radiation thermometer

Temperature states of a clinical thermometer body and an environment are estimated by temperatures measured by a first temperature sensor integrally formed together with an infrared sensor arranged to the distal end of a probe and a second temperature sensor arranged on the bottom side of a probe holder, and processes suitable for the respective temperature states are performed. An estimation error or the reliability of an estimation value is calculated by the temperatures to notify a user of the estimation error or the reliability by an LCD or the like.

Pyrometer

This invention is designed such that measurement can be performed only when a probe is sufficiently inserted into an external ear canal. A decision whether the probe is sufficiently inserted into the external ear canal or not is performed on the basis of a detected temperature.

Infrared clinical thermometer

A spray sprays a liquid medicine from a spray part . When a liquid sensing electrode arranged on the spray part senses the quantity of the liquid stored in a storage part and determines that the quantity of the liquid decreases, a pin part is driven by a solenoid for feeding the liquid medicine from a liquid medicine bottle to the storage part of the spray part through a feed pipe , and the feeding interval is obtained when the liquid medicine is intermittently fed for adjusting power supplied to a piezoelectric element of the spray part so that the feeding interval is constant. Consequently, a spray capable of automatically adjusting the quantity of spraying per unit time to a constant level for spray liquids having various properties can be provided.
