An agriculture assistance system includes a data setting unit configured or programmed to associate agricultural data at a predetermined position in an agricultural field to a plurality of areas set in the agricultural field, and to set the associated agricultural data as data corresponding to the respective areas, an area setting unit configured or programmed to set the areas in the agricultural field, and a map display unit configured or programmed to display the data corresponding to the respective areas. When the areas set by the area setting unit are changed, the data setting unit is configured or programmed to reassociate the data to the areas after the change.

An agriculture support system includes a data obtaining device to obtain at least one type of data among a plurality of types of data relating to planting of crops, a mesh setting device to allocate, as divided data, the data obtained by the data obtaining device to each of areas of an agricultural field in which the crops are planted, a first map display to relate, to a location of the agricultural field, the divided data allocated to each of the areas by the mesh setting device and to display the divided data as a first field map, a spreading setting device to set a spreading amount of spread substance in each of the areas based on the divided data of each of the areas, and a second map display to relate, to the location of the agricultural field, the spreading amount and to display the spreading amount.

An agriculture support device includes a traveling creator to create a scheduled traveling route of an agricultural machine in an agricultural field, a display controller to display on an external terminal a virtual traveling status of the agricultural machine to travel on the scheduled traveling route created by the traveling creator, and a correction permitting controller to permit correction of the scheduled traveling route created by the traveling creator when the external terminal requests the correction. The display controller displays, on the external terminal, the virtual traveling status and a result traveling status of the agricultural machine that has traveled on the scheduled traveling route.

A liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes a liquid crystal panel () having an area sensor function of detecting the position of an input from an outside source by detecting an image on a panel surface. The liquid crystal panel () (position detecting section), provided with visible light sensors (A) each containing light sensor elements () that detect the intensity of received visible light and infrared light sensors (B) each containing light sensor elements () that detect the intensity of received infrared light, which detects an input position by the visible light sensors (A) and the infrared light sensors (B) separately detecting an image on the detector surface. The liquid crystal display device further includes a backlight (light-emitting section) for irradiating the liquid crystal panel () with light containing infrared light. This achieves an area sensor capable of accurate position detection in a wide range of environmental illuminances and a liquid crystal display device equipped with such an area sensor.
