A resin safety shoe toe cap made from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin, wherein the toe cap resin safety shoe toe cap is constituted from rising parts comprising a front end rising part, a big toe side rising partand a little toe side rising part; a top part; and a base part, wherein the thickness of the big toe side rising partis made to be greater than the thickness of the little toe side rising part. Moreover, the big toe side rising partand the little toe side rising partare connected to the front end rising partby curved surface partshaving different curvatures, and the rising parts are formed so as to rise up approximately perpendicularly to the base part. The safety shoe toe cap not only satisfies the performances in L-class and S-class of JIS T 8101, but also the impact resistance and compression resistance performances stipulated in H-class of JIS T 8101 and safety shoe standards in the CEN Standard, without impairing the ability to fit to shoes and wearer's feet.

A harness frame of light weight manufactured from a laminated plate material is disclosed. The laminated plate material comprises (a) a composite material layer comprising a resin matrix and a reinforcing layer formed of reinforcing fibers and (b) metallic layers superposed one each on the opposite surfaces of the composite material layer. In a preferred mode, resin sheets and reinforcing layers of reinforcing fibers are alternately superposed, two metallic layers are set in place one each on the vertically opposite surfaces of the superposed layers, and the layers are heated and compressed with a pressing machine to induce thermal welding of the component layers. The laminated plate material has the metallic layers superposed with high adhesive strength on the opposite surfaces of a composite material layer having a plurality of reinforcing layers embedded in a resin matrix.

A heald frame comprises: a heald support frame for supporting a plurality of healds in parallel, the heald support frame having a central plate portion and a pair of ring-shaped rectangular heald supporting portions extending in opposite directions from the central plate portion; and a heald support extending perpendicularly from the central plate portion, the heald support being integrally connected to the central plate portion of the heald support frame via a generally V-shape joint.
