An instrument has a first object having a line shape or band shape that is continuously visually recognized, a second object indicative of a present value of an output index that is an index relating to an output energy amount, and a third object indicative of a present value of a regeneration index that is an index relating to a regenerative energy amount. A partial region on the first object is formed with an output region in which the present value of the output index is indicated by a position on the region, and a region different from the output region on the first object is formed with a regeneration region in which the present value of the regeneration index is indicated by a position on the region.

Provided is a control device comprising: a motor output decision unit configured to decide a magnitude of an output of the motor, based on a magnitude of a requested output that is an output requested to be supplied to drive wheels; a first rotation number decision unit configured to decide a first target value of a rotation number of the motor, based on the magnitude of the output of the motor decided by the motor output decision unit; and a display control unit configured to change a display method of the power indicator in a case where the motor supplies power to the drive wheels in a first mode and in a case where the motor supplies power to the drive wheels in a second mode different from the first mode.

A stay time integrating device integrates stay time of an accelerator pedal in each pedal stroke position within a predetermined stroke range including a click position. A click stroke calculating device calculates a click stroke based on a pedal stroke position where stay time calculated by the integrating device is the shortest. Thus, it is possible to correctly calculate the click stroke with which the accelerator pedal is actually depressed beyond the click position. In accordance with the click stroke, a control stroke calculating device updates a relationship of the control stroke with a pedal stroke. Accordingly, even if the click stroke varies from one vehicle to another, kick-down which a driver intends can be performed in synchronism with depression of the accelerator pedal beyond the click position by compensating for the variation.

Vehicle shift controller

A shift control apparatus for an automatic transmission includes a controller. The controller is configured to control the automatic transmission. The automatic transmission includes a first input shaft, a second input shaft, an output shaft, a first clutch, a second clutch, and gear trains. In a case where a standby shift stage does not lie between a predetermined current shift stage and a target shift stage, the controller controls the first clutch to be disengaged and the second clutch to be engaged, and then controls a synchronizing device among synchronizing devices for the predetermined current shift stage to be disengaged and a synchronizing device among the synchronizing devices for the target shift stage to be engaged during a disengagement of the first clutch, and then controls the second clutch to be disengaged and the first clutch to be engaged.

Shift control apparatus for automatic transmission

Adding a driver's intention and running environments to conditions for cancelling a delay of an upshift after kickdown enables the upshift at a suitable timing depending on a vehicle's running environments and aspects of the driver's operation. A shift control device for automatic transmission calculates an allowance driving force of the vehicle when upshifting at a current vehicle speed and throttle opening, and also calculates a threshold value of a driving force depending on an average value of throttle opening variation, an average value of vehicle speed variation, a cornering judgment of a winding degree of a road on which the vehicle is running and a gradient judgment of a gradient of a road surface on which the vehicle is running. Then, after comparing the threshold value and the allowance driving force, the device permits an upshift when the allowance driving force is larger than the threshold value.

Shift control device for automatic transmission

A vehicle transmission control apparatus includes an expected-acceleration calculator configured to calculate an expected acceleration of a vehicle based on at least an engine load and a vehicle speed. An actual-acceleration calculator is configured to calculate an actual acceleration of the vehicle. An uphill determination device is configured to calculate an uphill determination value based on a difference between the expected acceleration and the actual acceleration and configured to calculate a corrected uphill determination value by subjecting the uphill determination value to moderating calculation using a moderating coefficient and to update the corrected uphill determination value in accordance with the moderating coefficient. A transmission-characteristic selecting device is configured to select one of transmission characteristics based on the corrected uphill determination value. A transmission controller is configured to perform transmission control based on the transmission characteristic selected by the transmission-characteristic selecting device.

Vehicle transmission control apparatus

In an automatic transmission, a shift lever is operable to move to one of a plurality of shift positions corresponding to ranges established as selectable options. The plurality of shift positions are each configured as one of a momentary position allowing the shift lever to automatically return to a home position and a retention position allowing the shift lever to be held therein. A return mechanism for causing the shift lever held in the retention position to return to the home position is provided. The return mechanism is enabled on one of conditions that the parking switch be turned on and that an ignition switch be turned off. In a manual transmission, a return mechanism for causing the shift lever held in a gear stage to return to a home position is provided, and the return mechanism is enabled on condition that an ignition switch be turned off.

Gearshift device and method of controlling same

A shift control apparatus for an automatic transmission having an automatic shift mode for performing a shift operation by determining a gear position or gear ratio to be set according to a vehicle running condition and a manual shift mode for performing a shift operation instructed by a manual operation by an operator. The shift control apparatus includes a region determining unit for determining whether the present running condition is in a first region where downshift is performed at the present gear position or gear ratio in the automatic shift mode or in a second region higher in vehicle speed than the first region, and an upshift allowing unit for allowing upshift instructed by the manual operation by the operator in the manual shift mode when the region determining unit has determined that the present running condition is in the second region.

A gearshift device includes a gearshift lever adapted to move a plurality of gear selection positions, and a gear selection position detecting unit which detects a gear selection position. The gear selection position detecting unit has a magnet plate disposed at a lower end portion of the gearshift lever and movable in accordance with a movement of the gearshift lever and primary magnetic sensors and at least one secondary magnetic sensor, which are disposed so as to oppose to the magnet plate in a non-contact fashion at predetermined positions based on the individual gear selection positions. The primary magnetic sensor detects magnetic flux density and outputs ON/OFF signals in accordance with intensity of the detected magnetic flux density The secondary magnetic sensor detects magnetic flux density and outputs an output value according to the detected magnitude of the magnetic flux density.

Gearshift device for automatic transmission

A shift control apparatus for an automatic transmission having an automatic shift mode and a manual shift mode. The shift control apparatus includes a shift characteristic changing unit for changing the first shift characteristic to a second shift characteristic such that a region for outputting an upshift signal is displaced toward higher vehicle speeds after performing a downshift by the manual operation, a delaying unit for delaying the output of the upshift signal by a predetermined time period according to the vehicle running condition when the vehicle running condition becomes a condition where the upshift signal is to be output according to the second shift characteristic, and an upshift allowing unit for once allowing the output of the upshift signal when the above condition continues after the elapse of the predetermined time period determined by the delaying unit.

A shift control apparatus comprises clutches driven by shift solenoids and whether or not the raising of the rotation speed occurs in an internal combustion engine is determined. If the raising of the engine rotation speed is detected, a hydraulic pressure learn correction is made to engagement hydraulic pressure and a time learn correction is made to the hydraulic pressure supply preparation time. The correction ratio of the energization-hydraulic pressure characteristic (I-P characteristic) of clutch clearance and the shift solenoid is set so as to become an appropriate distribution ratio and the learning is started based thereon.

A control system (a control valve CV and an electronic control unit ECU) for an automatic transmission TM performs an automatic control to select and establish a speed ratio from a plurality of speed ratios in response to the condition of a vehicle which is set in a drive range. This control system creates a neutral condition if the vehicle is stationary with the brake of the vehicle being actuated and the accelerator for the engine being turned off while the transmission is set in a drive range. The control system is also equipped with an engine output control device that adjusts the engine output which is input into the transmission when the transmission in the drive range leaves the neutral condition and starts to establish any of the speed ratios in the drive range.

Control system for vehicular automatic transmission

A system for controlling an automatic transmission of a vehicle, in which a pressure supply time to complete removal of the clutch-stroke play is determined based on the input shaft rotational speed. And a residual oil amount in the clutch is estimated and the time is corrected by the residual oil amount. The preparatory pressure to be supplied within the time is also determined based on the input shaft rotational speed and the ATF temperature. With this, it becomes possible to effect the clutch-stroke play removal within a less variant time and with a good response, thereby decreasing the shift shock effectively so as to improve the feeling of the vehicle occupant.
