A heat exchanger has a plurality of paths as refrigerant paths, and at least one of the plurality of paths has a coexistent path, in which both of a parallel flow portion where refrigerant flows from a heat transfer tube of one of the tube rows to a heat transfer tube of a tube row which is on a downstream side of the one tube row in terms of an air flow direction, and a counter-flow portion where refrigerant flows from a heat transfer tube of one of the tube rows to a heat transfer tube of a tube row which is on an upstream side of the one tube row in terms of the air flow direction, exist in use both as a condenser and as an evaporator.

Heat exchanger for air conditioner

The present invention is characterized in that: a flow diverter provided in an air conditioner has a flow diverter main body having an internal space, and a first connection portion to which a pipe is connected; the first connection portion has an inner peripheral surface that defines a hole through which the pipe is inserted; the inner peripheral surface has, in the direction of a central axis, a brazing portion which is provided at a location containing an end on the side where the pipe is inserted, and forms a gap filled with solder for brazing between the inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of the pipe, and a restricting portion located closer to the flow diverter main body than to the brazing portion; and the inner diameter of the restricting portion is smaller than the inner diameter of the brazing portion.

Air conditioner

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of refrigerant tubes. In a flow divider, a part of a plurality of capillary tubes is connected to an open end portion on a side of a front tube plate, and a remainder of the plurality of the capillary tubes is connected to an open end portion on a side of a rear tube plate. The plurality of refrigerant tubes include even number refrigerant tubes constituted by an even number of heat transfer tube portions and odd number refrigerant tubes constituted by an odd number of heat transfer tube portions.

Heat exchanger with tube arrangement for air conditioner

A ceiling-mounted air conditioning unit includes an indoor heat exchanger disposed on an outer peripheral side of a centrifugal blower. The indoor heat exchanger includes plural heat transfer tubes arranged in multiple stages in a vertical direction and in three rows in a flow direction of air blown out from the blower and are connected to a refrigerant inlet of the indoor heat exchanger in a case where the indoor heat exchanger functions as an evaporator of the refrigerant during cooling, plural liquid refrigerant tubes connected to the heat transfer tubes in a first row on a most upwind side, second row-side gas refrigerant tubes connected to a refrigerant outlet of the indoor heat exchanger during cooling and connected to the heat transfer tubes in a second row, and third row-side gas refrigerant tubes connected to the heat transfer tubes in a third row on a most downwind side.

Of four corner covers () in an indoor unit(), a horizontal length of an outer surface in a second corner cover () is the same as a horizontal length of an outer surface in a first corner cover(), a horizontal length of an outer surface in a third corner cover () and a horizontal length of an outer surface in a fourth corner cover () are the same and are smaller than the horizontal length of the outer surface of the first corner cover(). Opening dimensions (LA, LB, LC, LD) of four air outlet ports () in a horizontal direction are the same.

Indoor unit

A heat exchange device includes a heat exchanger having a plurality of heat transfer tubes through which a refrigerant is circulated and functioning as an evaporator, a plurality of communication tubes connected to ends of the heat transfer tubes on the refrigerant discharge side, and a header connected to ends of the plurality of communication tubes on the refrigerant discharge side, the header for joining the refrigerant discharged from the communication tubes. At least a part of the plurality of communication tubes includes a flow passage enlargement communication tube formed in such a manner that a flow passage sectional area on the side of the header is larger than a flow passage sectional area on the side of the heat transfer tubes.

Heat exchange device and communication tube used in the same

A casing () contains a rotating brush () for removing dust on an air filter (), and a dust container () for containing the removed dust. A supply duct () through which air blowing from an indoor fan () enters the dust container (), and a discharge duct () through which the dust contained in the dust container () is discharged out of the casing () together with the air are provided.

Indoor unit of air conditioner

A casing () of an indoor unit () contains an indoor fan (), an air filter (), and an indoor heat exchanger (). The indoor unit () includes: a divider plate () which includes an air hole () for attaching the air filter () therein, and divides space inside the casing () into a room upstream of an air flow passing through the air filter (), and a room downstream of the air flow passing through the air filter (); a dust removing mechanism () for removing dust trapped on the air filter (); and a dust container () for containing the dust which is removed by the dust removing mechanism (), and is transferred through a transfer duct (). The indoor heat exchanger () is arranged around the indoor fan (), and the dust container () is arranged below the indoor heat exchanger ().

Disclosed is an indoor unit having a dust storage container in which dust removed from an air filter is stored, and a dust collecting box into which the dust in the dust storage container is transferred by utilizing an effect of blown air. The dust storage container is provided with a full condition detection means for detecting a dust full condition of the dust collecting box. The full condition detection means includes an LED and a phototransistor which are opposed to each other with a storage portion interposed therebetween. After a dust transfer operation which transfers the dust from the dust storage container to the dust collecting box, an intensity of light of the LED that has passed through the storage portion is detected by the phototransistor. If the detected light intensity is equal to or less than a set value, a full condition of the dust collecting box is detected.

An indoor unit of an air conditioner having an air filter provided on a suction side of an indoor fan has a construction in which dust removed from the air filter by a dust removing part can be recovered easily and reliably. The construction includes a dust removing part () for removing dust captured by an air filter () provided on the suction side of an indoor fan (), storage containers (), () having the dust removing part () stored therein, a nozzle insertion part () into which a nozzle () of a cleaner can be inserted, and a suction passage () for making the storage containers (), () to communicate with the nozzle insertion part ().
