A vehicle display device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires a travel environment; a prediction unit that predicts a behavior of another vehicle traveling ahead of a vehicle of a driver, based on the travel environment; and a display unit that, when the behavior of the other vehicle is predicted to become unstable, displays the predicted behavior of the other vehicle to the driver of the vehicle. The vehicle display device may include: a prediction unit that predicts a behavior of a vehicle, based on the travel environment; and a display unit that, when the behavior of the vehicle is predicted to become unstable, displays the predicted behavior of the vehicle to a driver of the vehicle.

A display apparatus for motor vehicle capable of enhancing stereoscopic image effect utilizing a simple configuration. Since the front part includes a tilt approaching to an upward side as the front part proceeding to the front side of the motor vehicle, and a stereoscopic image is displayed on a display surface, the image is made visible in combination with the front part when the ring member is positioned at the tilt position. The image is expressed as having a visual depth by not only a mere image but also by the tilted front part so that the stereoscopic image effect is enhanced due to the combination of the front part and the stereoscopic image having a visual depth. Further, the configuration is simplified since the stereoscopic image effect can be enhanced without a need of altering the direction of the display surface.

Display apparatus for motor vehicle

There is provided a vehicle display device capable of simplifying a configuration for a passenger. A ring member is provided to be closer to the front side (opposite to the passenger) than a half mirror, and thus the configuration for the passenger can be further simplified than the half mirror, thereby achieving a simple appearance. The ring member is visually confirmed through the half mirror thereby to display the ring member and an image in combination like a configuration in which a decorative member is provided to be closer to the passenger than the display as conventionally.

The vehicle-mounted display unit includes a display having a meter area and an auxiliary indication area. The meter area indicates a dial image for showing measured values of an operational condition of a motor vehicle. The auxiliary indication area indicates information other than the measured values. The display unit has a control device for controlling contents indicated on the display. The control device indicates a normal length pointer extended in the auxiliary indication area at a normal indication state, while the control device indicates a shorter length pointer in the auxiliary indication area when the other information is indicated.
