A PDMA terminal () establishes communication by forming a plurality of spatial paths to another single radio apparatus. A plurality of antennas constituting an array antenna are divided into a plurality of subarrays corresponding to the plurality of spatial paths respectively. An adaptive array processing unit (USP) can perform an adaptive array processing for each of the plurality of subarrays. A memory (MMU) stores in advance information on the number of antennas associated with the number of spatial paths that can be formed by the array antenna. A control unit (CNP) controls a processing to transmit possible multiplicity information to another radio apparatus at a prescribed timing.

The disclosure describes embodiments for reducing adjacent channel interference for wireless vehicular messages. In some embodiments, a method includes monitoring, by an onboard vehicle computer, a channel of a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) radio for a V2X message. The method includes determining waveform data describing a waveform that is measured on the channel by the onboard vehicle computer when monitoring the channel. The method includes determining interference data which describes an adjacent channel interference waveform which is measured on the channel by the onboard vehicle computer when monitoring the channel. The waveform includes the adjacent channel interference waveform. The method includes canceling out the adjacent channel interference waveform described by the interference data from the waveform described by the waveform data to generate digital data describing a version of the V2X message that substantially does not include the adjacent channel interference waveform, thereby reducing the adjacent channel interference for the V2X message.

Reducing adjacent channel interference for wireless vehicular messages

The disclosure describes embodiments for reducing interference for wireless vehicular messages. In some embodiments, a method includes detecting a presence of an interference signal on a channel of a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) radio which obscures payload data that is included in a V2X message received via the channel. The method includes determining a source of the interference signal present on the channel. The method includes canceling out the interference signal from the V2X message using a cancellation sequence selected based on the source to generate a modified version of the V2X message including the payload data which is substantially unobscured by the interference signal. The method includes providing the modified version of the V2X message to a vehicle component so that the vehicle component provides its functionality based on the payload data and not the interference signal.

Simultaneous reception of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) messages over multiple channels in multi-channel V2X networks

An RF unit and a modem unit receive a packet signal, containing information regarding a frame construction, which is transmitted from a base station apparatus in a first period of a frame at least including first periods and second periods. An extraction unit identifies the second period in the frame, based on the received packet signal. A setting unit sets a waiting time period in the identified second period. A carrier sensing unit carries out carrier sensing over the waiting time period set by the setting unit. The modem unit and the RF unit broadcast the packet signal based on a result of the carrier sensing.

Terminal apparatus transmitting signal containing predetermined information

It is specified that a frame containing at least the plurality of slots is repeated. A detecting unit detects a slot usable in the communications between terminal apparatuses, from among a plurality of slots. A modem unit and an RF unit broadcast the information on the detected slot. A power measuring unit in the detecting unit measures the respective received powers of the plurality of slots, and an empty slot identifying unit identifies a slot whose received power is less than a threshold value.

Broadcasting method and access control apparatus

Preceding filters receive the inputs of a plurality of received signals associated respectively with a plurality of antennas. Subsequent filters band-limit the plurality of inputted received signals, respectively. A first combining unit derives a weight vector for the plurality of band-limited received signals and performs array synthesis on the plurality of band-limited received signals, using the derived weight vector. The second combining unit performs array synthesis on the plurality of inputted received signal signals, using the derived weight vector. A demodulator demodulates the array-synthesis result.

Receiving apparatus for receiving signals through adaptive array antenna

In response to a connection request from a terminal, a base station provides a signal indicating a reception operation adapted to a transmission operation of the base station to the terminal. Based on the indicating signal, the terminal selects and performs the optimum reception operation. The terminal also provides its own reception operation information in advance to the base station. Based on the reception operation information, the base station transmits a reception operation indication to the terminal. These processes are realized with software by DSP () and the like.

In response to a connection request from a terminal, a base station provides a signal indicating a reception operation adapted to a transmission operation of the base station to the terminal. Based on the indicating signal, the terminal selects and performs the optimum reception operation. The terminal also provides its own reception operation information in advance to the base station. Based on the reception operation information, the base station transmits a reception operation indication to the terminal. These processes are realized with software by a DSP.
