A display device () includes a spontaneous light emission-type display panel (). The display device includes a plurality of pixels (P). The plurality of pixels each include a plurality of sub pixels including a red sub pixel (R), a green sub pixel (G) and a blue sub pixel (B). The display panel includes a red light emitting element (), a green light emitting element (), and a blue light emitting element (). Red light, green light and blue light respectively emitted by the red light emitting element, the green light emitting element and the blue light emitting element each have a spectrum half width of 10 nm or less. The plurality of sub pixels included in each pixel further include a yellow sub pixel (Ye). The display panel further includes a yellow light emitting element () provided in an area corresponding to the yellow sub pixel. The yellow light emitting element emits yellow light having a dominant wavelength of 550 nm or greater and 600 nm or less.

Display device

An electronic color-chart device includes plural LEDs with different peak wavelengths and displays images to serve as color references as color charts by making the plural LEDs emit light. In a case where a light emission intensity distribution of each of the plural LEDs is normalized with a maximum intensity being a value of 1, the plural LEDs include plural first LEDs of which at least one is an LED whose full wavelength width at half maximum intensity is 40 nm or narrower and between which a peak interval is 50 nm or narrower and a second LED whose light emission intensity at a wavelength of 555 nm is 0.4 or higher, and whose full wavelength width at half maximum intensity is wider than 40 nm.

In an image color estimation method, a signal value SG (Rs, Gs, Bs) is calculated based on a first display property and a tone value T (S), and an offset value Co (Ro, Go, Bo) that corresponds to the respective components (Rs, Gs, Bs) in the signal value SG is calculated based on the first display property P, a second display property P, and the tone value T (R, G, B) (S). Then, a correction signal value SC (Rc, Gc, Bc) is calculated by adding the offset value Co (Ro, Go, Bo) to the signal value SG (Rs, Gs, Bs) (S).
