Louver segments of a heat transfer fin each have a longitudinal central portion disposed at the center of the louver segment in a direction crossing the flow of a fluid and longitudinal end portions each disposed on either side of the longitudinal central portion and sectioned into parts. Each louver segment has a configuration such that an area of the longitudinal central portion projected in the direction of the flow of the fluid is larger than an area of each of the longitudinal end portions projected in the direction of the flow of the fluid, with respect to the same width of the passage of the fluid.

Heat transfer fins and heat exchanger

An absorption air conditioner having a regenerating chamber for heating and condensing a portion of a dilute solution generated in an absorber and an absorption chamber for causing refrigerant vapor generated in the regenerating chamber to be absorbed into said dilute solution which is at an intermediate position in the passage connected from the absorber to the regenerator so that the size of the absorber is reduced and the overall size of the absorption air conditioner is reduced.

Absorption air conditioner

The regeneration temperature of a chemical heat pump of closed system utilizing reversible reaction between calcium oxide and water is lowered by using an aqueous solution of a salt in an absorber-condensor provided separately from a reactor filled with calcium hydroxide.

Chemical heat pump

A heat accumulation system has a plurality of chemical heat accumulation units arranged in parallel and each incorporating reaction vessels containing, respectively, a chemical heat accumulating material such as zeolite and a reaction medium such as water. Any surplus heat which could not be used in the regeneration of the chemical heat accumulation material in one system is utilized for evaporation of a reaction medium in the other unit. Disclosed also is a method of operating this system.

A double effect air cooled absorption refrigerating machine consisting of fans provided on one side frame member out of the upper, lower and four side frame members which constitute a frame of a machine body, an air cooled heat exchanger provided on the remaining three side frame members and composed of an air cooled absorber and an air cooled condenser, and an evaporator, a high-temperature regenerator, a low-temperature regenerator, a solution heat exchanger and some other parts, all of which are provided on the inner side so as to be surrounded by the side frame members, the machine having a small installation area.

Double effect air cooled absorption refrigerating machine

The present invention relates to a louvered heat transfer fin in which the air-passing resistance of the louver is varied so as to increase the overall heat exchange quantity, and thereby to greatly enhance the heat transfer performance of the fin. The arrangement of each louver is such that the projection area in the vicinity of the longitudinal central portion of the louver projected in the direction in which air passes is larger than the projection area of each of the longitudinal end sides of the louver projected in the same direction.

Heat transfer fin

A heat exchanger comprising fins and at least one heat transfer tube. An even number, not smaller than four, of louvers are severed and raised in an alternate and staggered manner with respect to a fin base line between the remaining adjacent fin base. Furthermore, the louvers raised on the same side with respect to the fin base line have heights defined by a line slanted at a constant angle in a stepped manner.

Heat exchanger

First path flow passage is formed so as to lead the absorbent solution in the heat exchanger (7; 107) or the receive pan (24; 118a) disposed below a first path absorption process into a cooling air upper stream side of the first path absorption process through a conduit (30). Subsequent path flow passage is formed so as to lead the absorbent solution in the receive pan (24; 120) disposed below a subsequent path absorption process into the cooling air upper stream side of same path absorption process. The absorbent solution flow amount of each vertical tubes group (10; 158) can be obtained larger irrespective of the absorbent solution circulation flow amount for the refrigeration cycle. The dry portions of the vertical tube (10; 158) caused due to the storage of the absorbent solution circulation flow amount can be prevented.

Air-cooled absorption heating and cooling system

An air-cooled absorption refrigeration system wherein refrigerant vapor is introduced into a vertical tube absorber at the top and bottom, or top, bottom and center thereof so as to allow the refrigerant vapor to flow into the absorber at different scattered positions whereby a sufficient flow passage area for the refrigerant vapor is smoothly secured and the refrigerant vapor is received by the absorber.

Air-cooled absorption refrigeration system

An air cooling type absorbing cooler provided with an air cooling type absorber having a structure in which, in cooling the absorbing solution and the refrigerant vapor by air, the absorbing solution and the refrigerant vapor on the inlet side of the absorber are cooled by the cooling air on the outlet side of the absorber, while the absorbing solution on the outlet side of the absorber is cooled by the cooling air on the outlet side. By causing the absorbing solution sprayed into the absorber to flow downward and the air for cooling the absorbing solution and the refrigerant vapor to flow upward, the absorbing solution having a temperature which is approximately equal to the outlet temperature of the absorber is cooled by the air which has a temperature approximately equal to the inlet temperature of the cooling air. The absorbing solution supplied from the absorber is cooled by the refrigerant vapor evaporated by the evaporator.

Air cooling type absorption cooler

A solenoid valve in which a pulse signal is applied to an electromagnet thereof to eliminate an electric hysteresis. The solenoid valve includes a piston-like valve slidably supported in a cylinder, and at least one aperture, for communicating with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, provided in at least one of the valve and cylinder, whereby the flow rate of a fluid may be continuously controlled and the collision between the valve and a valve seat may be avoided.

An absorption cooling and heating system including a generator, a condenser, a subcooler, an evaporator, an absorber and an absorption heat exchanger, wherein the generator includes a container of a shape in which the liquid level of a solution contained therein has, in a vertical cross section, a horizontal length greater than the maximum depth of the solution and which has a heating source at one end thereof and an inlet port of a rich solution opening at the other end thereof. The generator includes a poor solution passage mounted in the container which extends through the solution in the container and opens at the one end of the generator to allow take-out of the poor solution to be achieved.

Absorption cooling and heating system

A combustion apparatus which includes tertiary air chambers are formed on both sides of a secondary combustion chamber, with tertiary air being supplied to a combustion flame produced within the secondary combustion chamber. The secondary combustion chamber has a flow channel width greater than a width of an opening in a throttle plate provided on the upstream side thereof, thereby achieving universality with respect to enabling use of various fuel and to increase the capacity of the combustion apparatus while reducing the size thereof.

Combustion apparatus

An absorption type heat pump system including a first heat pump of the absorption type and a second heat pump of the absorption type. The first heat pump includes a generator equipped with a heating source, a condenser, an evaporator, an absorber, and a solution heat exchanger for drawing off hot water from the condenser and the absorber for heating and hot water supply purposes. The second heat pump includes a generator equipped with a heating source, a condenser, an evaporator, an absorber and a solution heat exchanger. The condenser and the absorber of the second heat pump are mounted in the evaporator of the first heat pump and the first and second heat pumps are connected together, so as to absorb heat from atmosphere by the evaporator of the second heat pump and utilize as a heat source for vaporizing a refrigerant in the evaporator of the first heat pump the heat given off by the condenser and the absorber of the second heat pump.

Absorption type heat pump system

An air cooling apparatus having a cooler including a plurality of fins arranged in substantially parallel relationship with a predetermined spacing therebetween and heat transfer tubes extending through the fins in a plurality of positions in the fins is further provided with at least one defrosting device having a plurality of projecting members of a width slightly smaller than the spacing between the fins which projecting members are each located between the adjacent two fins. The defrosting device is mounted for rotation about the heat transfer tubes and operative to remove frost from the surfaces of the cooler while rotating which frost has been formed during the operation of the air cooler.
