The information display device includes a surface member, a display, a light measurement unit, and a controller. The surface member is at least partially transmissive for light. The display is disposed on a back side of the surface member and is capable of displaying a display image including an information area for displaying information and a non-information area for displaying no information. The light measurement unit measures the amount of ambient light around the information display device. The controller acquires the amount of light measured by the light measurement unit and changes a pixel value of a display image according to the amount of light so that the display is difficult to be seen through a surface of the surface member.

Information display device and information display method

A communication system includes a first terminal and a second terminal including an stow part for stowing the first terminal. The first terminal includes a first light emitter that emits infrared light, a first light receiver that receives infrared light, and a first controller. The first controller causes the first light emitter to emit light based on first specifying information upon receiving a pairing request signal via the first light receiver. The second terminal includes a second stow sensor that detects stow of the first terminal, a second light emitter that emits infrared light, a second light receiver that receives infrared light, and a second controller. The second controller causes the second light emitter to emit light based on a pairing request signal in accordance with detection of stow of the first terminal by the second stow sensor and performs control corresponding to the information including the first specifying information.

Communication system

A visible light communication device is a visible light communication device capable of communicating with an other communication device, and includes an image acquisition unit and an image processing unit. The image acquisition unit acquires a first image signal including an R component, a G component, and a B component, the first image signal being output based on a communication signal of a visible light communication. The image processing unit outputs a second image signal in which an influence of the R component of the first image signal is reduced during the visible light communication with the other communication device.

An imaging system includes a first imaging device and a second imaging device disposed flanking the main wing of an aircraft. The first imaging device and the second imaging device are disposed so that at least part of a first imaging range of the first imaging device overlaps a second imaging range of the second imaging device. A noise reduction device is used together with a shell which surrounds at least a part of the periphery of reclinable seat. The device includes a plurality of noise microphones, a noise controller, and control speakers. Control speakers output a sound based on a control-sound signal that is generated by the noise controller. Each of noise microphones is accommodated in back wall configuring the shell and is set back from a surface of the back wall.

A video management apparatus includes a video database for holding a plurality of pieces of video information each associated with an image position, a geographic information database for holding a plurality of pieces of geographic information each indicating a position of a different one of spots on a map, and a controller. The server is disposed in transport equipment having a plurality of seats and is capable of communicating with at least three radio communication devices and an input/output terminal. The server has a signal-intensity receiver, a storage, and a controller. The signal-intensity receiver receives signal-intensity information on radio waves of an external device. The storage stores first position data indicating a position corresponding to each of the radio communication devices, and second position data indicating a position corresponding to the input/output terminal. The controller receives a connection request for communicating between the radio communication devices and the external device. A noise reduction apparatus includes a noise reduction amount calculator. The noise reduction amount calculator includes a difference calculator that obtains a difference between a level of the noise detected by a first noise detecting microphone and a level of the noise detected by a second noise detecting microphone when control sound is not output, a storage unit that stores the difference, an estimated noise value calculator that estimates a noise level that is to be detected by the second noise detecting microphone when the control sound is output, based on the level of the noise detected by the first noise detecting microphone when the control sound is output and the difference, and a reduction amount calculator that calculates a noise reduction amount on the noise reduction target position, based on the estimated noise value and the level of the noise detected by the second noise detecting microphone when the control sound is output.

Noise reduction apparatus

A noise reduction device includes a noise controller, a control sound output component and a residual sound detector. The noise controller is configured to produce a control sound signal for canceling out noise. The control sound output component is configured to output a control sound based on the control sound signal produced by the noise controller. The residual sound detector is configured to detect a residual sound produced by superposition of noise and the control sound outputted from the control sound output component. A signal memory records both of a noise signal supplied from a noise microphone and an error signal supplied from an error microphone. A filter coefficient calculator calculates a fixed filter coefficient of a control filter by using data recorded in the signal memory. A filter coefficient renewing section renews, at a given timing, a filter coefficient set at a fixed filter in a control filter to a filter coefficient read out from the filter coefficient calculator.
