Operation of fastening a decorative-panel mounting screw into a screw-fastening hole of an indoor-unit body is facilitated. A decorative panel includes a decorative-panel body, a decorative-panel mounting component, and a decorative-panel mounting screw. The decorative-panel mounting screw is used to, when the decorative-panel mounting screw is inserted through a second screw-insertion hole in the decorative-panel mounting component and a first screw-insertion hole in the decorative-panel body and fastened into a screw-fastening hole, cause a first mounting plate part and a second mounting plate part included in the decorative-panel mounting component to deform such that a mounting surface part included in the decorative-panel mounting component is displaced toward an indoor-unit body, and cause a first protruding engagement part and a second protruding engagement part included in the decorative-panel mounting component to move to be closer toward each other than before the decorative-panel mounting screw is fastened into the screw-fastening hole.

Decorative panel and indoor unit

An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a heat-medium heat exchanger, an air vent valve, a drain pan, and a hose. The heat-medium heat exchanger is provided in a housing to cause heat exchange to be performed between a heat medium and indoor air. The air vent valve allows air to escape from a heat medium passage that allows the heat medium to flow in the heat-medium heat exchanger. The drain pan is provided below the heat-medium heat exchanger to receive condensation water generated at a surface of the heat-medium heat exchanger. The hose has flexibility, and is attached to the air vent valve, and provided to let out the air along with the heat medium from the heat medium passage to the inner space in the drain pan. The hose has a double-wall structure and an upper end portion of the hose is fixed to the air vent valve.

Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus and air-conditioning apparatus

A ceiling concealed air-conditioning apparatus includes: a box-shaped air-conditioning apparatus body having an open bottom; and an exterior panel attached to an underside of the air-conditioning apparatus body. The exterior panel includes: a panel body covering the open bottom of the air-conditioning apparatus body; and a panel unit removably attached to a lower part of the panel body. The panel body includes an opening at an area where the panel unit is attached to the panel body, and further includes a string hanger to hang a string at a corner of the opening, the string hanger being integral with the panel body and protruding to an inside of the opening. The panel unit includes a holding part to hold the string on a surface of the panel unit facing the panel body, the holding part being integral with the panel unit. One end of a loop of the string is held by the holding part and the other end of the loop of the string is hung on the string hanger to connect the panel body and the panel unit with the string.
