An electric machine system includes an electric machine, an electric power converter, and a control unit. The electric machine includes a stator that includes coils, and a rotator that includes a magnet and is rotatable with respect to the stator. The electric power converter inputs electric power with respect to the coils of the electric machine. The control unit controls the electric power converter. The control unit includes an output unit and a correction unit. The output unit outputs a control signal for operating the electric power converter to the electric power converter. The correction unit corrects a phase of the control signal that determines input timing of the electric power with respect to the coils of the electric machine. The correction unit corrects the phase so that the magnitude of the electric power approaches an extreme value.

Electric machine system

A seal management apparatus for managing an electronic sealing service performs the steps of receiving seal-required data to be used for the sealing service from a user terminal of a user of the sealing service, generating (a) a seal secret key for sealing the seal-required data and (b) a seal public key used for verifying the seal, in a working memory, when the seal-required data is received, registering the seal public key in a blockchain, acquiring a seal identifier that is an identifier for acquiring the seal public key registered in the blockchain from the blockchain, generating a sealed file by affixing a signature of the seal secret key to a file containing the seal-required data and the seal identifier, deleting the seal secret key from the working memory, and transmitting the seal identifier to the user terminal.

Seal management method and seal management apparatus

A compound represented by the following general formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition thereof, and the use thereof to prevent or treat infectious diseases and a method to prevent or treat infectious diseases using those regimen are disclosed. The compound represented by formula (I) has an antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and is useful in the prevention or treatment of infectious diseases caused by these bacteria. 

Effective aminoglycoside antibiotic for multidrug-resistant bacteria

A novel compound that has antimicrobial activity against penicillin-resistant, and an anti-penicillin resistant pneumococci agent that includes the compound as an active ingredient are provided. Thus, an anti-penicillin resistant pneumococci agent is provided that includes as an active ingredient a compound represented by the following formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or hydrates thereof:

Antibacterial agent and therapeutic agent for johne's disease containing the same

Micro-bubble generators attached to a ship hull below the waterline decrease frictional resistance during navigation and improve fuel efficiency. Each micro-bubble generator is supplied with air and has a wing positioned outside the hull for generating negative pressure. The negative pressure created by the wing increases with an increase in ship's speed, which pushes the air-liquid interface outwardly toward the wing. As the air and the water move at different speeds due to difference in their densities, micro-bubbles are generated in the micro-bubble generator according to the Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability mechanism and discharged downstream to move closely along the outside surface of the hull.

Ship with reduced frictional resistance and its operation method

A ship is provided with microbubble generators attached below the waterline to supply microbubbles, which decrease the ship's frictional resistance during navigation and improve fuel efficiency. The below waterline region (L.W.L.) of the ship is divided into an upper region (R) proximate the waterline, and a lower region (R) proximate the ship's bottom. The air supply to the microbubble generators () in the upper region (R) is performed through a pipe (), one end of which is exposed to the atmosphere. The air supply to the microbubble generators () in the lower region (R) is performed through a branch pipe () from a pipe () using an assist compressor (), which is arranged as a closed system instead of being exposed to the atmosphere.
