A resolver stator includes a stator core including a ring-shaped stator core main body, and a number of tooth parts protruding radially inward from the stator core main body, an insulator disposed radially inward with respect to the stator core main body, a number of coils wound around the plurality of tooth parts respectively, and a connecting wire configured to electrically connect the coils to one another. The insulator includes an insulator main body having an insulator main body inner surface facing radially inward, and a protruding part protruding radially inward beyond the insulator main body inner surface. The connecting wire is opposed to the protruding part in an axial direction and also opposed to the insulator main body inner surface in a radial direction.

A terminal temporary holding structure includes: winding terminals each including a winding-side spot-welded portion having a flat plate shape; a terminal holding base that holds the winding terminals; and cable terminals each including a cable-side spot-welded portion having a flat plate shape and respectively connected with external cables. The cable terminals are temporarily held by the terminal holding base in such a manner that the winding-side spot-welded portion and the cable-side spot-welded portion are opposed to each other, so as to weld the cable-side spot-welded portion of each cable terminal to the winding-side spot-welded portion of each winding terminal. The cable terminals are temporarily held by the terminal holding base at at least two locations that sandwich the cable-side spot-welded portion.

A stator of a resolver includes a stator body including multiple magnetic pole portions; multiple stator windings respectively wound around the magnetic pole portions; multiple terminal pins each including a stator winding connecting portion around which the corresponding stator winding is wound; and an external cable connecting portion to be connected with an external cable; and a terminal pin holding portion that holds the terminal pins. The stator winding connecting portion of each terminal pin is formed in a double layer by folding a metal piece and has a fold formed when the metal piece is folded. The fold of the stator winding connecting portion of each terminal pin is formed along a longitudinal direction of the stator winding connecting portion.

The outline of a pattern is read out by an input device of a digitizing image scanner where embroidering data for a zigzag embroidering, a lower thread embroidering, or a cross-stitch embroidering are selectively and automatically prepared. The embroidering data and the embroidering sequence for different patterns can be made very easily and rapidly. In a device for detecting a type of an embroidering frame used, an infrared reflection detecting sensor is positioned on the base fixed to the table of the sewing machine and a movable member having pins is provided to move the embroidering frame in the X and Y coordinate directions. A supporter has holes provided at positions corresponding to the infrared reflection sensor which detects the number and positioning of said holes whereas the detected values are inserted into data indicative of the size of the embroidering frame.

An elastic curved plate engageable in the base and a thin plate surround the shaft and are positioned between the base and the pulley to continually press the pulley in an axial direction away from the magnetic disc and to this pre-stress the shaft drive.

A sewing machine composed of a drive motor, an upper shaft with detector, a motor speed control and a motor starting and stopping control. The motor speed control has a bistable device to start and stop the machine in response to signals from a switch and an extreme lower speed control to drive the motor at an extreme low speed in response to a signal from a switch. Motor speed control also has counters which when set and actuated by a switch execute a predetermined finite number of stitches. Motor control device also has circuits allowing the motor to operate in response to a variable speed control switch.

Electric sewing machine with a speed control system

A sewing machine has a machine housing. A group of pattern cams is arranged in the housing. A cam follower is movable along the group of pattern cams for selecting a desired one of these cams. A pattern indicating panel on the housing shows a row of pattern illustrations corresponding to the patterns which can be produced by the pattern cams. A manual arrangement moves the cam follower along the group of cams. An electrically illuminable pattern pointer is connected to the arrangement and movable along the row of pattern illustrations, in timed relation with the movement of the cam follower to point out a pattern illustration corresponding to a selected pattern cam. An electric circuit, including a power source and a switch electrically connects the power source with the pattern pointer to illuminate the latter. A switch operating arrangement is operated in timed relation with the movement of the cam follower to connect the pattern pointer to the power source so that the pointer may become illuminated and thus point out the selected pattern.
