Semiconductor device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device with a novel structure is provided. The display device includes a first substrate provided with a plurality of pixels including a display element, and a second substrate including a first conductive layer provided with a plurality of first openings. The first conductive layer has a function of an antenna capable of transmitting and receiving a radio signal. The pixel and the first opening include a region where the pixel and the first opening overlap with each other. The second substrate includes an element layer. The element layer includes a transistor. The transistor has a function of an amplifier capable of amplifying the radio signal. The transistor each includes a semiconductor layer including a metal oxide in a channel formation region. The metal oxide contains In, Ga, and Zn.

Display device

A display device with a novel structure, a display system with a novel structure, or operation methods of them is/are provided. The operation method of the display system including a first display device and a second display device includes the following steps: a first step of connecting the first display device and the second display device by wireless communication; a second step of transmitting first image data displayed on the first display device to the second display device; a third step of displaying, on the second display device, second image data obtained by processing at least part of the first image data; a fourth step of stopping display on the first display device; and a fifth step of processing the second image data in accordance with a manipulation with the second display device.

Method for operating display system using two display devices

A semiconductor device having favorable display quality is provided. The semiconductor device is provided with a display portion, a line-of-sight sensor portion, a control portion, and an arithmetic portion. The line-of-sight sensor portion has a function of obtaining first information showing a direction of a user's line of sight. The arithmetic portion has a function of determining a first region including a gaze point of the user on the display portion with use of the first information and a function of increasing a definition of an image displayed on the first region. Light emitted from the display portion may be used to obtain the first information showing the direction of the line of sight.

A semiconductor device that enables lower power consumption and data storage imitating a human brain is provided. The semiconductor device includes a control unit, a memory unit, and a sensor unit. The display portion has a function of displaying an image on the basis of the first image data.

Composite device

An object is to provide a display device with excellent display characteristics, where a pixel circuit and a driver circuit provided over one substrate are formed using transistors which have different structures corresponding to characteristics of the respective circuits. The driver circuit portion includes a driver circuit transistor in which a gate electrode layer, a source electrode layer, and a drain electrode layer are formed using a metal film, and a channel layer is formed using an oxide semiconductor. The pixel portion includes a pixel transistor in which a gate electrode layer, a source electrode layer, and a drain electrode layer are formed using an oxide conductor, and a semiconductor layer is formed using an oxide semiconductor. The pixel transistor is formed using a light-transmitting material, and thus, a display device with higher aperture ratio can be manufactured.

The connection electrode and the second gate electrode are electrically connected to each other through the metal film.

A moving object including a display apparatus capable of performing highly visible display is provided. The moving object includes a display unit, an imaging unit, an arithmetic unit, and a control unit. The display unit has a function of displaying a display image. The imaging unit has a function of obtaining a first captured image including the display image and an external view overlapping with the display image. The arithmetic unit has a function of comparing a color of the display image and a color of the external view and correcting the color of the display image on the basis of a comparison result. The control unit has a function of controlling running of the moving object on the basis of the first captured image.

Provided is a signal processing apparatus which includes an interval detection unit to detect a time interval containing a sound that is emitted from a mobile body and that is included in a recording signal obtained by collecting sounds around the mobile body in a state where another mobile body is present around the mobile body, the time interval being detected on the basis of the recording signal and a sensor signal output from a sensor attached to the mobile body.

Noise suppression performance is enhanced by performing appropriate noise suppression suitable for an environment of noise. Noise dictionary data read out from a noise database unit on the basis of installation environment information including information regarding a type of noise, and an orientation between a sound reception point and a noise source is acquired. Then, noise suppression processing is performed on a voice signal obtained by a microphone arranged at the sound reception point, using the acquired noise dictionary data.

A reduction in concentration due to a change in an emotion is inhibited. A change in an emotion of the human is suitably reduced. Part (in particular, an eye or an eye and its vicinity) or the whole of a user's face is detected, a feature of the user's face is extracted from data on the detected part or whole of the face, and an emotion of the user is estimated from the extracted feature of the face. In the case where the estimated emotion is an emotion that might reduce concentration, for example, a stimulus is applied to the sense of sight, the sense of hearing, the sense of touch, the sense of smell, or the like of the user to recover the concentration of the user.

The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and a program for enabling reproduction of high-quality sounds with a low process load. The signal processing device includes a demultiplexing section that extracts encoded audio signals and overamplitude flags, which have been generated for a plurality of respective panel loudspeakers and each indicate whether overamplitude will occur in the corresponding panel loudspeaker, by demultiplexing encoded data, a decoding section that decodes the encoded audio signals, and an adjustment section that adjusts audio signals to be supplied to the plurality of panel loudspeakers on the basis of the overamplitude flags and audio signals resulting from the decoding. The present technology is applicable to an encoding device and a decoding device.

The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a method, and a program that make it possible for a user to obtain a higher realistic feeling. The signal processing device includes: an audio generation unit that generates a sound source signal according to a type of a sound source on the basis of a recorded signal obtained by sound collection by a microphone attached to a moving object; a correction information generation unit that generates position correction information indicating a distance between the microphone and the sound source; and a position information generation unit that generates sound source position information indicating a position of the sound source in a target space on the basis of microphone position information indicating a position of the microphone in the target space and the position correction information. The present technology can be applied to a recording/transmission/reproduction system.
