It is intended to enable a saddled vehicle, including an internal combustion engine supported by a lower part of a vehicle body frame, a fuel tank supported by an upper part of the vehicle body frame, a canister including an external air introducing pipe for introducing an external air, and a vehicle body cover covering the vehicle body frame, the internal combustion engine and the fuel tank, to efficiently discharge steam, released from the external air introducing pipe of the canister, to the outside of the vehicle. An external air introducing tubular pathway extends inside the vehicle body cover while continuing at one end thereof to the external air introducing pipe of the canister. An other end-side opened portion of the external air introducing tubular pathway is opened to the outside of the vehicle body cover while penetrating a through hole formed in the vehicle body cover.

Saddled vehicle

A saddled vehicle includes: a vehicle body frame; an internal combustion engine supported at a lower portion of the vehicle body frame; a fuel tank supported at an upper portion of the vehicle body frame; and a canister. The canister is disposed around the fuel tank at a position lower than a seating portion of an occupant seat. A removable hermetic sealing cap or a one-way valve that prevents entry of rainwater from an outside is included in a drain pipe disposed at a lower portion of the canister. Accordingly, entry of rainwater into the canister is prevented with a simple structure.

A vehicle is provided that includes an intake device including a throttle body that is connected to a rear-side surface of a cylinder head which constitutes a part of an engine body which is mounted on a vehicle-body frame in a state where an axis of a crankshaft is arranged along the longitudinal direction. A sufficient clearance can be ensured between the intake device and a member which is arranged above the throttle body. A posture of the throttle bodyis set such that an axis Cof an intake passage formed in the throttle bodyextends in the rearward and downward direction.

Intake configuration for a vehicle

A partitioning member for dividing a connecting pipe into at least two exhaust passageways is provided in the connecting pipe, which is attached to an exhaust side of a silencer. A valve mechanism is operable to vary the passageway area of one of the exhaust passageways. With this structure, for example, when an engine is rotating at low revs, exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust passageway without the valve mechanism, while when the engine is rotating at high revs exhaust gas is simultaneously discharged from the exhaust passageway having no valve mechanism and a passageway provided with the valve mechanism. Therefore, it is possible to reduce exhaust noise when the engine is rotating at low revs.
