The element is for performing friction element welding on a sheet stack of two or more stacked metal sheets by pressing the element into the sheet stack while the element is rotated. The element includes a circular columnar mandrel that is to enter the sheet stack, a circular collar disposed at an upper end portion of the mandrel, a first conical body extending from a lower end surface of the mandrel, and a second conical body disposed on the lower side of the first conical body. The vertical angle β of the second conical body and the vertical angle α of the first conical body satisfy the relation β<α.

Element, friction element welding method, and method for producing friction element welded joint

A friction joining element for mechanically joining a sheet set prepared by stacking two or more metal sheets including a high strength steel sheet as an upper sheet. The friction joining element includes a mandrel having an overall length adjusted to be equal to or less than the total thickness of the sheet set, and a collar disposed at an upper portion of the mandrel. The friction joining element has a screw thread on a side surface of a head-side portion of the mandrel.

The stationary component is suspended from the vehicle body so that an electromagnetic section of the vibrating component is subject to a permanent magnetic field generated by the stationary component. A guide member is interposed between the stationary component and the vibrating component for guiding movement of the vibrating component in the axial direction. The guide member is adapted to restrict movement of the vibrating component in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction in order to prevent the vibrating component from being displaced laterally in relation to the permanent magnetic field.

Driver unit for automotive audio speaker

The driver of a speaker for an automotive audio system includes a plurality of magnetic coils wound around a common bobbin. Each of the magnetic coils is connected to one of a plurality of amplifiers each of which output an identical drive signal. By applying the common drive signal to each magnetic coil, the electromagnetic field created around the magnetic coil is enhanced approximately in proportion to the number of magnetic coils. Due to this increased electromagnetic force, a vehicle panel serving as a sound-amplifying medium can be satisfactorily and successfully driven so as to produce high-quality sound. The amplifiers are adapted to amplify the low-frequency components of the audio signal from a main amplifier.
