An electronic percussion instrument and sound production control method thereof are provided. In an electronic cymbal, the output of a musical sound is controlled in accordance with the results of detection from a strike sensor when the strike sensor detects a strike on a striking surface. While the musical sound is output, if a user touches the striking surface, an electrostatic capacitance sensor outputs an output value in accordance with the contact condition so that the musical sound is attenuated in accordance with the output value while being output. Therefore, the user can attenuate the musical sound being output in accordance with the contact conditions on the striking surface, thereby silencing the musical sound by way of the action similar to that of the acoustic cymbal choke that is the action of touching the striking surface.

There is provided an electronic percussion instrument. The electronic percussion instrument includes a struck surface and a plurality of strike sensors configured to detect a strike on the struck surface. The plurality of strike sensors include at least one central sensor that is disposed on a back side of the struck surface and disposed at a center side of the struck surface and a plurality of peripheral sensors that are disposed on a peripheral side of the struck surface. The central sensor and the peripheral sensors each have the same structure. The peripheral sensors are configured to transmit a strike signal in a shorter time than the central sensor when the struck surface is struck.

A pedal device for an electronic percussion instrument is provided, wherein first and second detection means for detecting a rotation of a pedal by different methods are alternatively disposed in a base. The pedal has a pressing part on a lower surface side. The base includes a first portion located under the pressing part for supporting the first detection means, and a second portion located around the first portion for supporting the second detection means. The first portion supports the first detection means such that a first pressed part of the first detection means is disposed on a displacement trajectory of the pressing part that displaces with the rotation of the pedal, and the second portion disposes the second detection means such that a second pressed part of the second detection means is disposed on the displacement trajectory of the pressing part.

Provided is a drum stand that includes a first pipe holding a percussion instrument, a second pipe to which the first pipe is connected, and a leg member supporting the second pipe on a floor surface. The first pipe is slidable along an axial direction of the second pipe. A lower end of the second pipe is in contact with the floor surface. The leg member is in contact with the floor surface on one side in a horizontal direction relative to the lower end of the second pipe and supports the second pipe in a state that an upper end of the second pipe is on the one side in the horizontal direction relative to the lower end of the second pipe.

A vibration isolating table is adapted to be disposed between a vibrating body, which vibrates with the playing of a musical instrument, and a floor for suppressing vibration or shock generated by the vibrating body from transmitting to the floor, wherein the vibration isolating table includes: a rigid plate including a plate-shaped member having predetermined rigidity; and a main body portion supporting the rigid plate in a floating condition above the floor. The main body portion is formed of an elastic body having higher elasticity than the rigid plate and includes a bulge means which bulges in a shape tapered from one side to the other side, wherein a lower surface side of the rigid plate is supported by the one side or the other side of the bulge means.

A percussion attachment is provided to be detachably installed on a percussion instrument. The percussion attachment includes a main body part having a struck part to be struck by a player, an extended part extending from a side surface of the main body part to be locked to one of the tension bolts, and a restricting part protruding from the side surface of the main body part near the extended part and supporting the percussion instrument to restrict a displacement of the main body part in a state that the extended part is tightened together with the hoop by one of the tension bolts.

The support frame includes a central vertical frame, a left vertical frame located in a left rear direction of the central vertical frame when viewed from the player side, a right vertical frame located in a right rear direction of the central vertical frame when viewed from the player side, a left transverse frame extending between the central vertical frame and the left vertical frame and connecting the central vertical frame with the left vertical frame, and a right transverse frame extending between the central vertical frame and the right vertical frame and connecting the central vertical frame with the right vertical frame.
