Provided is a thermosensitive recording material which can be produced through high-speed coating, which is excellent in head-matching property, and which can provide a printed image having good waterproofness, while maintaining high sensitivity and high storage stability, which material includes a support, an under layer laid over the support, the under layer containing a plastic hollow particle, a thermosensitive color-developing layer laid over the under layer, the thermosensitive color-developing layer containing a leuco dye and a developer, wherein two or more layers including the thermosensitive color-developing layer are formed through simultaneous coating by a curtain coating method.

Thermosensitive recording material

To provide a heat-sensitive recording material, including: a substrate; a heat-sensitive color developing layer on the substrate, the heat-sensitive color developing layer containing at least a leuco dye and a developer; and a protective layer on the heat-sensitive color developing layer, the protective layer containing at least a binder resin, wherein the binder resin in the protective layer contains diacetone-modified polyvinyl alcohol resin, the degree of polymerization of the binder resin in the protective layer is 1,000 to 1,800 and the degree of saponification of the binder resin is 90% or greater and less than 98%.

Heat-sensitive recording material and production method thereof

The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material with enhanced color developing sensitivity maintaining heat resistance and image storage stability characteristics such as plasticizer resistance and water resistance. The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material including at least a substrate and a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and developers on the front surface of the substrate, wherein as the developers 4-hydroxy-4'-allyloxydiphenyl sulfone is used in combination with a first diphenyl compound represented by formula (1) and/or a second diphenyl compound represented by formula (2). 

Heat-sensitive recording material

To provide a thermosensitive recording material, which contains: a base; a thermosensitive coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a color developer; at least one protective layer containing a resin, a crosslinking agent, and wax, wherein the thermosensitive coloring layer is disposed on the base, and the protective layer is disposed on the thermosensitive coloring layer, and wherein the resin is reactive carbonyl group-containing polyvinyl alcohol, the crosslinking agent is a hydrazide compound, and the wax is oxidized polyethylene wax.

Provided is a thermosensitive recording material that comprises a support, a thermosensitive coloring layer on the support, and a protective layer on the thermosensitive coloring layer, wherein the thermosensitive coloring layer comprises a leuco dye and a color developer, and the protective layer comprises a diacetone-modified polyvinyl alcohol resin and a (meth)acrylic resin.

A heat-sensitive recording material including: a substrate; a heat-sensitive color developing layer over the substrate, the heat-sensitive color developing layer composed mainly of a leuco dye and a color developer that develops color of the leuco dye upon heating; and a protective layer over the heat-sensitive color developing layer, the protective layer composed mainly of a water-soluble resin and a crosslinking agent, wherein the protective layer contains diacetone-modified polyvinyl alcohol as the water-soluble resin, and N-aminopolyacrylamide as the crosslinking agent.
