A rubber composition containing a rubber and modified cellulose fibers, wherein one or more substituents selected from substituents represented by the following general formulas (1) and (2): &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;R(1), &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;(OA)&#x2014;O&#x2014;R(2), wherein each Rin the general formulas (1) and (2) is independently a linear or branched alkyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms and 30 or less carbon atoms; n in the general formula (2) is a number of 0 or more and 50 or less; and A is a linear or branched, divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 or more carbon atoms and 6 or less carbon atoms are bonded to cellulose fibers via an ether bond, wherein the modified cellulose fibers have a cellulose I crystal structure. The rubber composition of the present invention can be suitably used for machine tool parts, household electric appliance parts, automobile parts, and the like.

Rubber composition

A water-based composition containing: (A) fine cellulose fibers having a number-average fiber diameter of 0.5 nm or more and 200 nm or less, and having a carboxy group content of 0.1 mmol/g or more, wherein the carboxy group forms a salt with an alkali metal; and (B) an additive containing one or more compounds having carbon atoms and nitrogen atom or atoms, wherein a ratio thereof per molecule of the compound (number of carbon atoms/number of nitrogen atoms) is 3 or more and 45 or less, wherein the content of the component (A) is 0.2% by mass or more and 10% by mass or less, and wherein the content of the component (B) is 3 parts by mass or more and 150 parts by mass or less, based on 100 parts by mass of the component (A), and wherein the water-based composition has a viscosity at 80&#xb0; C. at a rotational speed of 30 rpm of 80 mPa&#xb7;s or more. Since the fine cellulose fibers or a salt composite thereof of the present invention retains a high viscosity even under high temperatures, the fine cellulose fibers or a salt composite thereof can be suitably used in various industrial applications represented by thickening agents during gas and oil drilling, cosmetic applications, and other applications requiring manufactured article stability at high temperatures.

Viscous water-based composition

Modified cellulose fibers, wherein each of (A) one or more substituents selected from substituents represented by the following general formula (1) and substituents represented by the following general formula (2): &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;R(1); &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;(OA)-O&#x2014;R(2), wherein each Rin the general formula (1) and the general formula (2) is independently a linear or branched alkyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms and 30 or less carbon atoms; n in the general formula (2) is a number of 0 or more and 50 or less; and A is a linear or branched, divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 or more carbon atoms and 6 or less carbon atoms, and (B) a substituent represented by the following general formula (3): &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;R(3), wherein Rin the general formula (3) is an alkyl group having 1 or more carbon atoms and 2 or less carbon atoms, is independently bonded to cellulose fibers via an ether bond, wherein the modified cellulose fibers have a cellulose I crystal structure. The resin composition blended with the modified cellulose fibers of the present invention can be suitably used in various industrial applications such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, wrapping materials for household electric appliance parts and automobile parts.

Modified cellulose fibers

A fine cellulose fiber composite containing fine cellulose fibers and a polymer having an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide (EO/PO) copolymer moiety or a propylene oxide (PO) polymer moiety, the fine cellulose fibers being connected with the polymer via an amide bond. The fine cellulose fiber composite of the present invention has high dispersibility in the resin and can exhibit an effect of increasing strength, so that the fine cellulose fiber composite is suitably used as various fillers, and the like. Also, the resin composition of the present invention containing a dispersion of the fine cellulose fiber composite can be suitably used in various industrial applications such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, wrapping materials for household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts.

Micro cellulose fiber complex

A resin composition containing: (A) one or more resins selected from the group consisting of a thermoplastic resin, and a curable resin selected from an epoxy resin, a (meth)acrylic resin, a phenolic resin, an unsaturated polyester resin, a polyurethane resin, or a polyimide resin; and (B) modified cellulose fibers wherein one or more substituents selected from substituents represented by the following general formulas (1) and (2): &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;R(1), &#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH(OH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;(OA)-O&#x2014;R(2), wherein each Rin the general formulas (1) and (2) is independently a linear or branched alkyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms and 30 or less carbon atoms; n in the general formula (2) is a number of 0 or more and 50 or less; and A is a linear or branched, divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 or more carbon atoms and 6 or less carbon atoms are bonded to cellulose fibers via an ether bond, wherein the modified cellulose fibers have a cellulose I crystal structure. The resin composition of the present invention can be suitably used in various applications such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, wrapping materials for household electric appliance parts, automobile parts, and resins for three-dimensional modeling.

Resin composition

A fine cellulose fiber composite containing fine cellulose fibers having a carboxy group and an amine having an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide (EO/PO) copolymer moiety, the fine cellulose fibers being bound with the amine at the carboxy group to form a salt, wherein the fine cellulose fibers have a carboxy group content of 0.1 mmol/g or more, and wherein the molecular weight of the EO/PO copolymer moiety is from 700 to 10,000, and wherein a PO content ratio in the EO/PO copolymer moiety is from 1 to 70% by mol. The fine cellulose fiber composite of the present invention has high dispersibility in the resin and can exhibit an effect of increasing strength, so that the fine cellulose fiber composite is suitably as various fillers, and the like.

A polyester resin composition containing a polyester resin, and a fine cellulose fiber composite having an average fiber diameter of from 0.1 to 200 nm, wherein the fine cellulose fiber composite contains fine cellulose fibers and hydrocarbon groups being connected thereto via an amide bond. The polyester resin composition of the present invention can be worked into a molded article by thermoforming or injection-molding, and is suitably used for various industrial applications, such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, packaging materials for household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts. In addition, the fine cellulose fiber composite has high dispersibility against various resins and can exhibit thickening effects, so that it is suitable as various thickeners or the like.

Polyester resin composition

A composite material of the invention is a mixture of cellulose microfibers having a carboxyl group content of 0.1 to 3 mmol/g and a moldable polymeric material selected from the group consisting of a biomass-derived polymer and a petroleum-derived polymer. The biomass-derived polymer is preferably polylactic acid or pulp. The cellulose microfibers are preferably present in an amount of 0.01% to 60% by mass. Another composite material of the invention is a mixture of cellulose composite microfibers and a moldable resin, the cellulose composite microfibers being obtained by adsorbing a surfactant onto cellulose microfibers having a carboxyl group content of 0.1 to 3 mmol/g.

Composite material

A warming device of sheet form having (1) a heat generating sheet prepared by papermaking and containing an oxidizable metal, a moisture retaining agent, and a fibrous material and (2) an air permeable holder holding the heat generating sheet. The warming device has a thickness of 0.1 to 10 mm and a flexural strength of 0.01 to 0.3 N/cm. The sheet preferably has a thickness of 0.1 to 2.0 mm. The fibrous material preferably has a CSF of 600 ml or less.

Warming tool in a sheet form

A warming article having a heat generating main body (). The heat generating main body () is composed of a heat generating element () having water vapor generating capability and an air permeable holder () for holding the heat generating element (). The heat generating main body () is configured to expand with heat generation of the heat generating element (). The amount of water vapor generated from the warming article is preferably 1.0 to 100 mg/(cm&#xb7;10 min). The holder () preferably has a water vapor permeability of 1.5 to 10 kg/(m&#xb7;24 hr). The heat generating element () is preferably a sheet molded by papermaking and containing an oxidizable metal, a moisture-retaining agent, and a fibrous material.

Warming tool

A molded article containing a powder and a fibrous material which is obtained by a wet papermaking process. The fibrous material has a fiber length frequency distribution such that 30% to 90% of the fibrous material have a fiber length of 0.4 to 2.0 mm and that 9% to 50% of the fibrous material has a fiber length of 0.4 mm or less. The molded article contains at least 50% by weight of the powder.

Article formed into sheet, method for producing the same and exothermic formed article

Provided is a material for gas barrier containing cellulose fibers having an average fiber diameter of not more than 200 nm, wherein the content of the carboxyl group in a cellulose composing the cellulose fiber is 0.1 to 2 mmol/g. A molded composite having gas barrier properties such as high oxygen barrier properties can be produced by applying the material for gas barrier on a substrate and drying.

Gas barrier material

A molded sheet containing at least an oxidizable metal, a moisture retaining agent, and a fibrous material and having a content of components other than the fibrous material of 50% by weight or higher. The sheet has a thickness of 0.08 to 1.2 mm and a breaking length of 100 to 4000 m.

Molded sheet

A process of producing a heat generating molded article comprising the steps of making an intermediate product by a papermaking process from a raw material composition containing at least an oxidizable metal powder, a moisture retaining agent, a fibrous material, and water and incorporating an electrolyte into the resulting intermediate product.

Method for producing heat-generating formed product

A molded article () made predominantly of pulp and comprising a bottom portion () and a body portion (), wherein the angle &#x3b8; between the outer surface of a side wall of the body portion () and the ground contact plane (B) of the bottom portion () is 85&#xb0; or greater, and the height of the body portion () is 50 mm or more.
