A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel including: preparing a substrate; forming pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix above the substrate; forming parallel column banks above the substrate in spaces between the pixel electrodes in a row direction; forming functional layers including organic light emitting layers in gaps between the column banks, including causing relative motion in the row direction between the substrate and a head provided with nozzles arranged along a column direction while ejecting ink from selected nozzles among the nozzles to supply a set of the gaps with an ink including an organic material; and forming a counter electrode above the functional layers. Among the set of the gaps, nozzle patterns of the selected nozzles for a gap differ between a first gap and a second gap in a sequence in the row direction of the set.

Organic EL display panel manufacturing method and functional layer forming device

An organic EL display panel including pixel electrodes above a substrate in a matrix, column banks above the substrate at least between edges of the pixel electrodes in a row direction, extending in a column direction and side-by-side in the row direction, organic light emitting layers continuous in the column direction in gaps between the column banks, and a counter electrode layer above the organic light emitting layers. Width in the row direction of the organic light emitting layers, which is defined by width of the gaps between the column banks, changes at intervals in the column direction. For each of the light emitting layers, a minimum interval is equal to or less than a pitch in the column direction of the pixel electrodes and the changes are different from others of the light emitting layers.

Organic EL display panel and method for manufacturing organic EL display panel

Provided is an organic EL display panel including pixels that are arranged in a matrix. Each of the pixels includes a plurality of unit pixels. Each of the pixels includes a red unit pixel and a blue unit pixel. The red unit pixel and the blue unit pixel are arranged side by side in a row direction. In pixels adjacent to each other in the row direction among the pixels, unit pixels are arranged in at least one of manners as follows: red unit pixels are adjacent to each other; and blue unit pixels are adjacent to each other.

A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel includes forming pixel electrode layers in a matrix on a substrate. The method includes arranging column banks extending in a column direction above the substrate. The method includes applying ink containing organic light emitting material to gaps between the column banks so that the ink is continuous between ends of the column banks in the column direction. The method includes arranging the substrate and a rectifying plate facing each other, the rectifying plate having a uniform density of through holes, such that the rectifying plate is at a predefined distance from the column banks. The method includes exhausting gas from an environment including the substrate and the rectifying plate. The method further includes heating the substrate to dry the ink to form an organic functional layer. The method includes forming a counter electrode layer above the organic functional layer.

Organic EL display panel manufacturing method and ink drying device

A method of manufacturing an EL display device having a panel part is such that a constituent element of the panel part is formed through film formation in a vacuum atmosphere. After the constituent element of the panel part has been formed on a substrate in the vacuum atmosphere, the post-film-formation substrate is placed on standby during transporting the substrate from a place in the vacuum atmosphere to a place in an atmospheric-pressure atmosphere. The placing the substrate on standby includes a first intake period and a second intake period. During the first intake period, an intake gas is gradually introduced to change the atmosphere, from the first vacuum atmosphere to the second vacuum atmosphere that exhibits a lower degree of vacuum than that of the first vacuum atmosphere. During the second intake period, the intake gas is introduced to change the atmosphere, from the second vacuum atmosphere to the atmospheric-pressure atmosphere. The first period is set to be longer in time than the second period.

Method of manufacturing EL display device

A fiber scope of the side-viewing type includes an image guide and two light guides disposed on both sides thereof in an objective part. The fiber scope is suitable for the observation of the surface of long articles assembled with narrow gaps therebetween as in an assembly of nuclear fuel rods in a nuclear reactor and a wide field of view can be secured even if an object to be observed stands within a point-blank range of an objective part. Also a plurality of long articles can be simultaneously observed by the fiber scope or the observation can be carried out while moving the fiber scope in the scanning direction. If the fiber scope is used in a radioactive environment, highly radiation resistant optical fibers are used.

Data signals are transmitted from a transmission unit (12) through a hybrid coil (16) and transmission line (18) to a remote transceiver. Data signals of a different frequency are received from the remote transceiver through the transmission line (18) and hybrid coil (16) in a full duplex mode and passed to a reception unit (26). A ratio of the signal levels of the received data signals passed through the hybrid coil (16) in a desired manner to transmitted data signals which leak through the hybrid coil (16) in an undesired manner is sensed at a reception signal output of the hybrid coil (16). The resistance of a variable resistance pad (17) provided in the transmission line (18) is varied in accordance with the sensed ratio so as to adjust the ratio to a predetermined optimum value. The sensed ratio is a predetermined function of the impedance of the transmission line (18) as viewed from the hybrid coil (16). The amplification factors of transmission and reception amplifiers (14), (22) are also varied to compensate for variations in attenuation of the transmitted and received signals by the resistance pad (17).

Full duplex transceiver comprising hybrid coil and automatic impedance

A gate unit is connected between a central processing unit and a storage means such as a drum or disc memory. A comparator unit is operative to store therein a data search item. In the data search mode, the gate means sequentially gates data items from the storage means into a buffer register having an output connected to an input of the comparator unit. The gate means is controlled to gate a data item in the buffer register to the central processing unit only when the data item corresponds to the search item stored in the comparator unit. The comparator unit may perform AND, OR, magnitude or any other type of comparison which is required.

Data storage device comprising search means

A device for transporting a flexible sheet from one device wherein the sheet is processed at one speed to another device wherein the sheet is processed at another speed. The device comprises two pairs of rollers, one pair of rollers disposed on the downstream side of the path of movement of the sheet and adapted to rotate at a rate higher than the rate of rotation of the other pair of rollers disposed on the upstream side thereof. The rotation of the pair of rollers disposed on the downstream side is temporarily initiated to cause the leading end portion of the sheet to be nipped thereby and then held for a time interval, so as to permit the portion of the sheet interposed between the two pairs of rollers to buckle up and form a loop before transporting at the higher rate is begun by reactivation of the downstream pair of rollers.
