A rotating electrical machine includes: an oil reception part that has an opening opposed to an injection hole designed to inject ATF into the atmospheric pressure inside a housing; and an oil reservoir that communicates with the oil reception part via a communicating hole provided in a wall part and communicates with a rotor cooling oil channel of a shaft via a cooling oil lead-in hole provided in the wall part. Since ATF having flowed out of the oil reception part flows along an inner face of the wall part of a second housing by gravity and reaches a bearing, one ATF supply route can be used both for cooling a rotor and lubricating a bearing, whereby the ATF supply route can be simplified.

Rotating electrical machine

A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor; a stator having a core annularly arranged facing the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, a coil wound around the core and having a coil end formed protruding from an end surface in the axial direction of the core, and an insulator formed on the end surface in the axial direction of the core and insulating the core and the coil; a bus bar arranged on the outer peripheral side of the coil end of the stator; and a terminal block installed on the outer peripheral side of the bus bar for introducing an electric current from an external power source to the stator, and the insulator has a groove portion in which the bus bar is held, and a terminal block housing portion in which the terminal block is held.

A rotating electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, and a case, wherein each of the sub stator cores has a first insulated bobbin, a stator iron core, a second insulated bobbin, and a coil, and the coil is disposed in teeth parts of the first insulated bobbin, the stator iron core, and the second insulated bobbin, all of which are stacked in layers, and the first insulated bobbin has three ring holding parts which are formed in a core back part and extend to a circumferential direction, and the bus rings are separately inserted into the ring holding parts formed in the first insulated bobbin, and the first insulated bobbin, the stator iron core, and the second insulated bobbin each has a convex part formed at one side face of the core back part and a concave part formed at the other side face of the core back part.

Rotating electric machine

It is realized that a shape of a bus ring is simplified, and a rotary electric machine is downsized. A coil connecting portion, which is protruded from bus ring maintaining portions to a shaft direction, is provided at a bus ring, and coil terminals are arranged in such a way that the coil terminals are protruded toward an outer side in a diameter direction with respect to the coil connecting portion, and the coil terminals and the coil connecting portion are connected by performing a resistance welding process. Thereby, it is not required that a slit and a bent portion or the like are formed at a tip of the bus ring, and a shape of the bus ring is simplified. Moreover, a welding board for a welding process and a chuck board for a connecting portion are not required, so that a rotary electric machine can be downsized.

Rotary electric machine and manufacturing method thereof

An insulating holder is provided with a bobbin portion and bus bar supporting portions, and the bus bar supporting portions have bus bar walls which electrically separate each of the bus bars, and step portions are formed, in a lamination direction of the bus bars, at the bus bar walls. Gap portions are formed, between the bus bars and the bus bar walls, in a longitudinal direction of the bus bars and in a lamination direction of the cores, at the step portion, and an insulating cap, which complements the gap portions from the outside and maintains the bus bars, is provided, in a state where the bus bars are installed to the bus bar walls.

A cooling apparatus includes: an annular internal liquid coolant flow channel that is mounted to a rotary electric machine main body, and in which an internal liquid coolant circulates around an outer circumference of the rotary electric machine main body, and an external liquid coolant passage portion through which an external liquid coolant passes, the external liquid coolant passage portion is connected to the internal liquid coolant flow channel by a connecting portion that is positioned vertically higher than the rotary electric machine main body, and the electric power converting apparatus includes a heat radiating surface that releases heat that is generated in the electric power converting apparatus, the electric power converting apparatus being mounted to the cooling apparatus such that the heat radiating surface and the internal liquid coolant can exchange heat at a position that is vertically lower than the connecting portion.

In order to efficiently cool a stator and rotor of a rotating electrical machine, cooling oil is supplied by a pump in a pressurized state to a first reservoir portion provided in an upper portion inside a housing, and after the cooling oil is ejected from the first reservoir portion, the cooling oil is guided to a stator coil end cooling structure, and to a rotor bearing and rotor core cooling structure, using the weight of the cooling oil itself.

A rotating electric machine includes a rotor including a rotor core fixed to a shaft, respectively, an end plate provided between the rotor core and a front-side end plate for preventing scattering of a magnet, and an end plate formed in a bowl shape. A passage including a hole penetrating the rotor core and a hole connecting the shaft to the end plate and the bowl-shaped end plate is provided, liquid refrigerant is supplied through the passage, and the liquid refrigerant discharged from the passage is scattered by rotation along an inner peripheral surface of the bowl-shaped end plate so as to reach a space between a coil end surface of a stator and an end surface of an insulator supporting a coil of the stator.

Coolant flow channels include a main flow channel that is spaced apart from a magnet accommodating aperture on an inner circumferential side, and that passes axially through a rotor core; a magnet cooling flow channel that is formed on an inner circumferential side of a permanent magnet, an inner circumferential surface of the permanent magnet being a portion of the magnet cooling flow channel; and a relay flow channel that passes axially through the rotor core in a state in which the main flow channel and the magnet cooling flow channel are linked, a first end plate opens a first axial end of the main flow channel, and closes a first axial end of the magnet cooling flow channel and the relay flow channel, and a second end plate opens second axial ends of the main flow channel, the magnet cooling flow channel, and the relay flow channel.

Rotary electric machine

Provided is a rotary electric machine in which cooling efficiency can be improved. The rotary electric machine includes a first refrigerant passage through which refrigerant passes from the shaft to the rotor core, wherein the rotor core includes a second refrigerant passage through which the refrigerant having passed through the first refrigerant passage passes, wherein the insulator includes: a base portion; a radially inner protruding portion, which is formed on a radially inner side of the base portion, and a radially outer protruding portion, which is formed on a radially outer side of the base portion, wherein the radially inner protruding portion has a first through-hole penetrating therethrough in a radial direction, and wherein the refrigerant having passed through the second refrigerant passage passes through the first through-hole to travel to the stator coil end portion.

A stator includes multiple bus bars formed in an annular shape and laminated in a radial direction and an insulation member covering both radial side surfaces and both axial end faces of each bus bar, and the insulation member contains a sheet-like insulation member covering both radial side surfaces and the axial end face of each bus bar.

An electric rotating machine that can raise the utilization efficiency of cooling oil is obtained. In an rotation axle, there are provided an oil flow path having a predetermined length from an end of the rotation axle and a flow path hole that communicates with the oil flow path and has an opening toward the inside of the electric rotating machine; a supporting member includes a cylinder section and a disk section that partitions the cylinder section in the axis direction, and a discharging hole is provided at an end of the cylinder section; between the flow path hole and the discharging hole, there is provided a partition plate that encloses a space formed by the supporting member and the rotation axle and guides cooling oil traveling from the flow path hole to the inside of the electric rotating machine to the discharging hole.

Apparatus for cooling an electric rotating machine

A coolant flow channel is formed so as to pass axially through a rotor core radially inside magnet housing apertures, a linking flow channel is formed so as to have a flow channel width that is narrower than a maximum flow channel width of the coolant flow channel, so as to link the coolant flow channel and the magnet housing apertures, and so as to pass axially through the rotor core, and permanent magnets are fixed to an inner wall surface of the magnet housing apertures by an adhesive that is disposed only between a wall surface of the permanent magnets that is positioned on a radially outer side and the inner wall surface of the magnet housing apertures so as to expose a region of a wall surface of the permanent magnets that is positioned on a radially inner side that faces the linking flow channel.
