This vehicular sensing system provided to a vehicle comprises a frontward LiDAR unit and a rearward LiDAR unit. The frontward LiDAR unit and the rearward LiDAR unit are arranged on a rear surface of a vehicle body facing a road, and are configured to acquire point group data indicating the surrounding environment of the vehicle.

Provided is a light source unit including a base unit formed on a front surface thereof with a first circuit pattern by irradiating laser light to a resin molded article, and a light emitting element mounted on the base unit and electrically connected to the first circuit pattern. The base unit includes a mounting surface portion directed in a prescribed direction such that the light emitting element is mounted thereon, and a sidewall surface portion connected to the mounting surface portion in a plane intersection state, and the sidewall surface portion is formed as an inclined surface intersecting with the mounting surface portion at an obtuse angle.

Light source unit

A vehicular lamp includes a light source unit that is attached to one of a lamp body and a reflector. The light source unit includes a semiconductor light emitting element that is a light source; a plurality of conductive members formed into a predetermined three-dimensional shape by press working a conductive metal material; and a housing that is formed of an insulating material. The plurality of conductive members each include: an element mounting portion to which the semiconductor light emitting element is mounted, a heat dissipating portion that dissipates heat generated when the semiconductor light emitting element emits light, and a connecting portion to which a connector that supplies power to the semiconductor light emitting element is connected. The housing holds the plurality of conductive members in a spaced apart state.

An attaching construction includes a first member having a circular tubular welding portion at a distal end and, at a rear end thereof, a holding portion which is integral with the welding portion. The attaching construction includes a second member having an annular first positioning rib, and an annular second positioning rib inside the first positioning rib. The welding portion is positioned within the first positioning rib, and the welding portion is friction welded in place within the first positioning rib while the first member is rotated.

A vehicular lamp includes a lamp chamber formed by a lamp body opening forward and a transparent front cover attached to a forward opening portion thereof; a lamp unit disposed within the lamp chamber; a millimeter wave radar for sending a millimeter wave to reflect off of an object in order to detect a distance and a relative speed of the object; and a millimeter wave direction-changing mechanism for sending forward the millimeter wave sent by the millimeter wave radar from a back surface side of the lamp unit, without reflecting the millimeter wave on a rearward side of the lamp unit.
