Provided is a scroll compressor. The scroll compressor may be provided with at least one refrigerant accommodating groove recessed to a preset depth in at least one from a side surface of a fixed wrap constituting a compression chamber and a side surface of an orbiting wrap. Thus, a volume of the compression chamber in a discharge area may be increased in correspondence with a volume of the at least one refrigerant accommodating groove, and a space into which liquid refrigerant, etc. may escape may be ensured to resolve excessive compression in the compression chamber. Then, a stress exerted on the fixed wrap is reduced, and a damage to the fixed wrap due to pressure in the compression chamber may be suppressed.

Scroll compressor

Provided is a scroll compressor. The scroll compressor includes a reinforcing unit between an outlet end of a suction port and an outer circumferential surface of the fixed wrap facing the outlet end of the suction port. The reinforcing unit may overlap a part of the outlet end of the suction port in a radial direction when being projected in an axial direction. Accordingly, rigidity of a suction side of the fixed wrap is increased, and thus, deformation of the suction side of the fixed wrap during operation of the scroll compressor may be suppressed to increase reliability of the scroll compressor.

A laundry treating apparatus may include a drum in which laundry is stored, an air flow passage through which air is circulated, and a heating duct configured to supply hot air to the drum. The air flow passage and heating duct may be configured to prevent or reduce or cooling or condensing of moisture in the circulated air. A steam compressor may be provided to compress some of the air flowing through the air flow passage.

Laundry treating apparatus

A fluid compressor includes a case, a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a motor, and at least one anti-rotation unit. The case is configured to form an external appearance thereof. The fixed scroll is fixed in the case. The orbiting scroll is engaged with the fixed scroll at one side of the fixed scroll, and performs partitioning of a compression chamber. The motor provides the orbiting scroll with drive power. The anti-rotation unit is coupled to a side surface of the orbiting scroll so as to prevent rotation of the orbiting scroll.

Fluid compressor

A fluid compressor is provided. The fluid compressor includes a case including an inlet configured to introduce fluid to be compressed, a compression unit including a compression chamber configured to compress the fluid introduced into the case, and a discharge port configured to discharge the compressed fluid to the outside of the compression chamber, a motor configured to drive the compression unit, and a valve configured to open and close the discharge port. The valve includes a fastening portion coupled to the compression unit to be spaced a first distance from the discharge port.

A scroll compressor includes a first scroll including a fixed wrap, a second scroll comprising an orbiting wrap, and a boss portion, a rotating shaft including an eccentric portion inserted into the boss portion of the second scroll to transfer a rotational force, a frame having a shaft hole, a first bearing provided between the shaft hole of the frame and an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft, and a second bearing provided between an inner circumferential surface of the boss portion and an outer circumferential surface of the eccentric portion of the rotating shaft, wherein a differential pressure space portion is formed between the first bearing and the second bearing in a radial direction, and has a radial cross section wider than a radial gap between an inner circumferential surface of the second bearing and the outer circumferential surface of the eccentric portion.

A co-rotating scroll compressor is provided in which pressure differences between inner and outer portions of a suction chamber are maintained, back pressures are applied to rear surfaces of end plates of a drive scroll and a driven scroll in directions in which the two scrolls are moved toward each other to prevent compression leakage of a fluid, and a lubricant oil is easily supplied to the two scrolls using the back pressures. The co-rotating scroll compressor may include pressure seals between the rear surfaces of the end plates of the drive scroll and the driven scroll and an inner wall of the suction chamber such that the two scrolls are pressed in directions to be moved toward each other by the back pressures, and the oil is supplied to rotary supports and close contact portions of the two scrolls using the back pressures.

Co-rotating scroll compressor having back pressure structure

A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing including a rotational shaft, a first scroll rotated by rotation of the rotational shaft, the first scroll including a first head plate and a first wrap that extends from the first head plate in a first direction, and a second scroll that defines a plurality of compression chambers together with the first scroll, the second scroll including a second head plate and a second wrap that extends from the second head plate in a second direction. Each of the first and second wraps spirally may extend from an outer end toward an inner start end, and the first wrap may have a thickness greater than a thickness of the second wrap.

A compressor according to the present disclosure may include a container; a drive motor provided in the container; a crankshaft coupled to a rotor of the drive motor; a first scroll coupled to the crankshaft to receive a rotational force of the drive motor to perform an orbiting movement; a second scroll coupled to the first scroll to form a first compression unit and a second compression unit along with the first scroll; and a vane provided in the first scroll or second scroll to be brought into contact with the other side scroll to form the second compression unit, wherein the first compression unit is carried out in a scroll compression mode and the second compression unit is carried out in a rotary compression mode.

A compression device includes a plurality of compressors in a shell. Each compressor includes a rolling piston that rotates within a cylinder to compress refrigerant. At least one valve allows refrigerant to be simultaneously or successively compressed by the compressors. A first pipe transfers refrigerant into one of the compressors, and a second pipe transfers refrigerant compressed in one of the compressors to another one of the compressors when the refrigerant is successively compressed by the compression mechanisms. The first and second pipes are coupled to the cylinder of one of the compressors.

Compressor

A rotary compressor is provided. The rotary compressor may include a plurality of cylinders each having a suction port formed such that an intersection of a center line of the suction port and a center line of a vane slot is positioned at a predetermined interval closer to the vane slot than to an intersection between a center of an inner diameter of the cylinder and the center line of the vane slot. A proximal end of the suction port may be formed in the vicinity of the vane slot so as to advance a compression start angle of a compression space and reduce a dead volume between the vane slot and the suction port, thus improving compressor performance.

Rotary compressor with improved suction portion location

A rotary compressor is provided. A suction hole is formed through a middle plate of the compressor to distribute refrigerant into both upper and lower cylinders. Coupling bolts having an appropriate length couple the cylinders to the middle plate. The length of the coupling bolts may be defined such that deformation of vane slots of the cylinders due to coupling of the cylinders may be minimized or eliminated, and friction loss and leakage loss between the vane and the vane slot may be reduced, thus improving compressor function.
