A camera module includes a housing accommodating a lens module, a driving unit including a magnet disposed on the lens module and a coil disposed to face the magnet, a yoke generating attractive force with the magnet, a first ball member accommodated in a first receiving space disposed between the lens module and the housing, and pressed by the attractive force, and a second ball member accommodated in a second receiving space disposed between the lens module and the housing, and pressed by the attractive force. A length of the first receiving space in an optical axis direction is different from a length of the second receiving space in the optical axis direction.

Camera module

A camera module includes a lens barrel, a housing, a shield cover, and a buffer member. The lens barrel incudes a flange portion extending in a direction intersecting an optical axis. The housing is configured to accommodate the lens barrel and has a step portion configured to face a lower portion of the flange portion. The shield cover is coupled to the housing and configured to cover an upper edge of the lens barrel. The buffer member is configured to couple to a groove of the flange portion and protrude in opposing directions from the flange portion to selectively contact the shield cover and the step portion.

A camera module includes a housing having a first ball support surface disposed on an inner surface thereof, a driving body movably disposed in the housing and having a second ball support surface disposed on an outer surface thereof, and a plurality of ball bearings disposed between the first ball support surface of the housing and the second ball support surface of the driving body. A distance between the first ball support surface and the second ball support surface along a direction perpendicular to an optical axis direction is different at respective first end portions of the first ball support surface and the second ball support surface in the optical axis direction than at respective second end portions of the first ball support surface and the second ball support surface in the optical axis direction.

A camera module includes a carrier configured to move in an optical axis direction, a frame and a lens holder disposed in the carrier in the optical axis direction and configured to move together with the carrier in the optical axis direction, a first ball member disposed between the carrier and the frame, a second ball member disposed between the frame and the lens holder, and a third ball member disposed between the carrier and the lens holder. The frame and the lens holder are configured to move together in a first axis direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction. The lens holder is configured to move relatively with respect to the frame in a second axis direction perpendicular to the first axis direction, and the third ball member has more contact points with the carrier than the first ball member.

Portable electronic apparatus and camera module

A camera module includes a housing; a first lens module and a second lens module accommodated in the housing; a printed circuit board attached to the housing; an actuator disposed between the first and second lens modules and the housing and configured to move the first and second lens modules in an optical axis direction; and a single integrated circuit disposed on the printed circuit board and configured to control movements of the first and second lens modules.

A camera module includes a housing having a guide groove formed therein, the guide groove being extended lengthwise in an optical axis direction, a lens barrel mounted in the housing and having a guide protrusion inserted into the guide groove, and an elastic member disposed on the guide groove so that the guide protrusion may be prevented from being separated from the guide groove.

There is provided a camera module including: a lens barrel including at least one lens disposed on an optical axis; a housing having the lens barrel disposed therein; and first and second elastic members elastically supporting upper and lower portions of the lens barrel, respectively, wherein the first and second elastic members include a fixed side coupled to the housing and a driving side coupled to the lens barrel, respectively, the fixed side and the driving side being disposed to face each other based on the optical axis.

A camera module in which a focal distance is adjusted by an actuator may include a permanent magnet and a coil. A neutral zone spatially dividing first and second polarities of the permanent magnet may be formed at a portion of the permanent magnet facing a sensing sensor sensing magnetic flux.

Camera module and autofocus method thereof

An actuator according to example embodiments may be relatively compact and may be driven with 2 degrees of freedom with less spatial constraints. The actuator may include a base member, a ball screw member including a ball screw coupled to the base member and a ball nut screwed onto the ball screw, a driving member coupled to the ball nut so as to move in conjunction with the ball nut, a first directional displacement member configured to move in a first direction in response to a first movement of the driving member, a wedge member coupled to the driving member so as to be moved in a second direction in response to a second movement of the driving member, a second directional displacement member configured to move in a second direction in conjunction with the wedge member, and a binding member configured to bind the first directional displacement member to at least one of the driving member, the wedge member, and the base member.
