The present disclosure related to a multilayer protective film that may include a structural PET layer, a first removable adhesive layer underlying the structural PET layer, a first peelable adhesive layer overlying the structural PET layer, a first flame retardant PET layer overlying the first peelable adhesive layer, a second peelable adhesive layer overlying the first flame retardant PET layer, and a second flame retardant PET layer overlying the second peelable adhesive layer. The multilayer protective film may have a lateral flame spread of at least about 20 KW/m, a specific optical density (Ds) of not greater than about 300, and a cumulative specific optical density (VOF) of not greater than about 600.

Multilayer protective film

A composite film may include a first transparent substrate and a first anti-reflective coating overlying a first surface of the first transparent substrate. The first anti-reflective coating may include a first UV curable acrylate binder, a photo initiator component, and silica nanoparticles dispersed within the first anti-reflective coating. The first anti-reflective coating may further include a ratio AC1/AC1of at least about 0.01 and not greater than about 1.3. The composite film may further have a VLT of at least about 93.0% and a haze value of not greater than about 3%.

A composite film may include a first transparent substrate and a first anti-reflective coating overlying a first surface of the first transparent substrate. The first anti-reflective coating may include fluorothermoplastic material and an acrylated polydimethylsiloxane. The composite film may further have a VLT of at least about 93.0% and a haze value of not greater than about 2.0%.

An inkjet printable article includes an ink receptive layer bonded to a paper substrate. The ink receiving layer includes particles, polymeric binder and colorant durability enhancer. From about 60% to about 95% by total dry weight of the ink receiving layer is particles selected from the group consisting of clay, kaolin, and combinations thereof. The polymeric binder is selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, styrene butadiene, acrylonithle-butadiene latex, and combinations thereof. The colorant durability enhancer is selected from the group consisting of boric acid, borax, phenyl boronic acid, butyl boronic acid, sodium tetraborate, and combinations thereof.

Media for use in inkjet printing

Primer arrangements that facilitate electrical conduction and adhesive connection between an electroactive material and a current collector are presented. In some embodiments, primer arrangements described herein include first and second primer layers. The first primer layer may be designed to provide good adhesion to a conductive support. In one particular embodiment, the first primer layer comprises a substantially uncrosslinked polymer having hydroxyl functional groups, e.g., polyvinyl alcohol. The materials used to form the second primer layer may be chosen such that the second primer layer adheres well to both the first primer layer and an electroactive layer. In certain embodiments including combinations of first and second primer layers, one or both of the first and second primer layers comprises less than 30% by weight of a crosslinked polymeric material. A primer including only a single layer of polymeric material is also provided.

Primer for battery electrode

A liquid toner digitally printable media including: a paper substrate; and a toner receiving layer established on at least one surface of the paper substrate. The toner receiving layer includes: pigments, binders, and at least one of cationic polymers and metallic salts. The pigments are from 60 to 95% of total dry weight of the toner receiving layer. The pigments include a major pigment which is at least 60 weight percent of total pigment dry weight. The major pigment includes a rod-like pigment selected from the group consisting of ground calcium carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate, other rod-like forms of calcium pigment, and combinations thereof.

Liquid toner digitally printable media

A media suitable for inkjet web press printing is disclosed herein. The media includes a paper substrate and an ink receptive layer coated onto at least one surface of the paper substrate. The ink receptive layer includes: inorganic pigments; at least one water-based binder; a water-soluble metallic salt; a colorant durability enhancer selected from the group consisting of boric acid, borax, sodium tetraborate, phenyl boronic acid, butyl boronic acid and combinations thereof; and a coefficient of friction (COF) reducer selected from the group consisting of polyethylene wax, paraffin wax, carnauba wax, polypropylene wax, polytetrafluoroethylene wax, and combinations thereof.

Media for inkjet web press printing

The instant disclosure relates to an ink jet printable optical recording medium including a substrate having opposing surfaces, namely a recording surface and a printing surface. The printing surface of the substrate is coated with an adhesion promotion layer which includes polyurethane, a high surface area inorganic pigment having a surface area of at least 100 m/g, and a low surface area inorganic pigment having a surface area of at most 50 m/g. The adhesion promotion layer is coated with an ink receptive coating.

Optical recording medium with ink receptive coating

A print medium suitable for inkjet web press printing is disclosed herein. The print medium includes a paper substrate and an ink-receiving layer coated onto at least one surface of the paper substrate. The ink-receiving layer includes: two different inorganic pigments with different particle sizes; a binder; a water-soluble metallic salt; and a colorant durability enhancer selected from the group consisting of boric acid, borax, sodium tetraborate, phenyl boronic acid, butyl boronic acid and combinations thereof.
