Embodiments of the present invention provide a bandwidth allocation method and apparatus, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, virtual bandwidth configuration information, where the virtual bandwidth configuration information is used for indicating a configuration of a virtual bandwidth; and performing, by the user equipment, signal reception and/or signal processing according to the virtual bandwidth indicated by the virtual bandwidth configuration information, where each virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, and the downlink maximum available bandwidth is a maximum bandwidth available for downlink transmission. In the embodiments of the present invention, reduction of overheads and reduction of complexity of signal reception and signal processing are implemented, and overheads and complexity of signal reception and processing feedback can be flexibly controlled.

Information transmission method and apparatus

This specification provides a resource determining method and an apparatus, to optimize sidelink transmission performance. In this specification, a first communication apparatus may receive preferred resource information and/or non-preferred resource information, determine a transmission resource based on received resource information and a type of the first communication apparatus, and perform sidelink transmission by using the transmission resource. First resource information can indicate a high-interference or high-usage resource and/or a low-interference or low-usage resource. The first communication apparatus can select, based on the type of the first communication apparatus, a resource with relatively low interference to perform sidelink transmission. The present invention discloses a method for transmitting a common signal and an apparatus thereof. The method includes: determining, by a first base station, a first configuration used to send a common signal; and sending, by the first base station, the common signal according to the first configuration. The first reference signal resource set includes resources for M first reference signals, and a resource for one of the M first reference signals is used to measure a channel.
