In the method, a terminal device generates a first codeword, where the first codeword is obtained based on a second codeword, a quantity of elements included in the second codeword is greater than a quantity of elements included in the first codeword, the second codeword is associated with a first coefficient set of a downlink channel, and the first coefficient set includes an element included in at least one row vector or column vector of a first coefficient matrix; and then the terminal device feeds back the first codeword to a network device. The terminal device can indicate a position and a numerical value of an element in the first coefficient set by reporting only the first codeword. This manner is simple. In addition, a codeword length of the first codeword is shorter than a codeword length of the second codeword.

Information transmission method and apparatus

This specification provides a resource determining method and an apparatus, to optimize sidelink transmission performance. In this specification, a first communication apparatus may receive preferred resource information and/or non-preferred resource information, determine a transmission resource based on received resource information and a type of the first communication apparatus, and perform sidelink transmission by using the transmission resource. First resource information can indicate a high-interference or high-usage resource and/or a low-interference or low-usage resource. The first communication apparatus can select, based on the type of the first communication apparatus, a resource with relatively low interference to perform sidelink transmission. The present invention discloses a method for transmitting a common signal and an apparatus thereof. The method includes: determining, by a first base station, a first configuration used to send a common signal; and sending, by the first base station, the common signal according to the first configuration. The method includes: A terminal sends a random access preamble to a base station at a first transmit power, and sends a PUSCH to the base station at a second transmit power, where power deviation between the first transmit power and the second transmit power is indicated to the base station by indication information; and the terminal receives a random access response or a contention resolution message from the base station. The terminal device determines channel state information based on the resource configuration information, and sends the channel state information. The resource configuration information is used to indicate a first reference signal resource set, L second reference signal resource sets, and a type of the first reference signal resource set. The first reference signal resource set includes resources for M first reference signals, and a resource for one of the M first reference signals is used to measure a channel.
