A method of determining, by an electronic device, an audio event is disclosed. The method may include receiving an input sound from a sound source by a plurality of sound sensors. The method may also extracting, by a processor, at least one sound feature from the received input sound, determining, by the processor, location information of the sound source based on the input sound received by the sound sensors, determining, by the processor, the audio event indicative of the input sound based on the at least one sound feature and the location information, and transmitting, by a communication unit, a notification of the audio event to an external electronic device.

A device includes a memory and a processor. The memory is configured to store a threshold. The processor is configured to authenticate a user based on authentication data. The processor is also configured to, in response to determining that the user is authenticated, generate a correlation score indicating a correlation between a first signal received from a first sensor and a second signal received from a second sensor. The processor is also configured to determine liveness of the user based on a comparison of the correlation score and the threshold.

A display condition of the display device may be detected from the image. The control device may determine context information associated with the user from the image. Based on the display condition and the context information associated with the user, an output display condition of the display device may be determined. A control signal for adjusting the display device may then be generated based on the output display condition.

A method, performed in an electronic device, for connecting to a target device is disclosed. The method includes capturing an image including a face of a target person associated with the target device and recognizing an indication of the target person. The indication of the target person may be a pointing object, a speech command, and/or any suitable input command. The face of the target person in the image is detected based on the indication and at least one facial feature of the face in the image is extracted. Based on the at least one facial feature, the electronic device is connected to the target device.

Further, the method includes determining a current location of the wearable computer and a view direction of an image sensor of the wearable computer and extracting at least one feature from the image indicative of at least one object.
