Disclosed is a backlight unit, including a light assembly having a light emitting lamp emitting a first light of a first wavelength band and a resin cover surrounding the light emitting lamp and including a first phosphor and a second phosphor, and an optical sheet including a third phosphor and optically converting an incident light of the light assembly incident on a rear surface to emit the optically converted light to a front surface, wherein the first phosphor converts the first light into a second light of a second wavelength band greater than the first wavelength band, wherein the second phosphor converts the first light into a third light of a third wavelength band greater than the second wavelength band, and wherein the third phosphor converts the second light into the third light of the third wavelength band.

Backlight unit and display device including the same

The present embodiment comprises: a plurality of light-emitting units; and a reflector including reflector units having spaces formed to receive the plurality of light-emitting units, respectively. Each of the plurality of light-emitting units includes an LED package mounted on a substrate and a light diffusion layer having a groove portion formed on a surface opposite to the substrate in the LED package, wherein the outer circumference of the light diffusion layer faces the inner surface of a reflector unit. In the reflector, the plurality of reflector units are integrally formed, the spaces expand along a direction extending away from the substrate, and a wall forming each of the spaces surrounds the outer circumference of each of the LED package and the light diffusion layer.

A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present invention comprises: a display panel; a frame positioned at the back of the display panel; a main optical assembly positioned on the frame between the display panel and the frame; and a side optical assembly positioned on the frame between the display panel and the frame, and positioned adjacent to the main optical assembly, wherein the frame comprises: a bottom forming a lower surface; and a side support extending from the bottom toward one side of the display panel, wherein: the side support is closer to the display panel than the bottom; the main optical assembly is positioned on the bottom; and the side optical assembly can be positioned on the side support.
