This application provides a method for determining a recommended scenario and an electronic device. The method includes: determining a recommended scenario of a current image based on a moving distance of a camera on an electronic device and a relationship between a current image and a previous image. When a slight shake occurs on the electronic device or the camera on the electronic device, or a photographed object/scenario does not change violently, continuity of a recommended scenario is preferably ensured, a probability of a jump of the recommended scenario is reduced, and user experience during image shooting is greatly improved.

Method for determining recommended scenario and electronic device

A photographing method is disclosed. By implementing the method, an electronic device, for example, a mobile phone, may determine bone points of a hand of a user in an image by using a bone point recognition algorithm, and determine two gesture feature points from the bone points. Then the electronic devicemay construct, by using positions of the two gesture feature points on a horizontal coordinate axis, a gesture vector representing a state of the hand (a palm or the back of the hand). Further, the electronic devicemay determine a gesture vector of a subsequent image frame by using the same method. When recognizing that a direction of the gesture vector in the subsequent image frame is opposite to a direction of a gesture vector in an initial image frame, the electronic devicemay determine that the user has made a hand flip gesture.

Photographing method and electronic device

A shooting method is provided. By implementing the shooting method provided in embodiments of this application, a terminal electronic device such as a smartphone or a smart television can determine to change a shooting mode based on a recognized user gesture. The electronic device can recognize a user's waving or sliding gesture more accurately based on the user's hand position change track in an image frame sequence and whether there are hand movements in two directions in the position changes.
