Doherty power amplifier and transmitter

A Doherty power amplifier includes a main power amplification circuit, an auxiliary power amplification circuit, a connection circuit, and an impedance conversion circuit. An output end of the main power amplification circuit and an output end of the auxiliary power amplification circuit are connected to two ends of the connection circuit separately by using bonding wires. The output end of the auxiliary power amplification circuit is further connected to one end of the impedance conversion circuit by using a bonding wire, and the other end of the impedance conversion circuit is connected to an output load.

Doherty power amplifier, communications device, and system

Embodiments of the present invention provide a power amplifier, a transceiver, and a base station. The power amplifier includes: a signal control unit, configured to generate a mode control signal and an auxiliary power amplifier control signal; a signal processing unit, configured to separately process an envelope signal and a radio-frequency signal; an envelope modulator, configured to output a fixed voltage or output an amplified envelope signal under the control of the mode control signal; a primary power amplifier, configured to perform amplification processing on the received radio-frequency signal that is input from the signal processing unit; and at least one auxiliary power amplifier, configured to operate or be disabled under the control of the auxiliary power amplifier control signal, and when in an operating state, perform amplification processing on the received radio-frequency signal that is input from the signal processing unit.

Power amplifier, transceiver, and base station

A balanced Doherty power amplifier circuit and a radio transmitter is provided. The circuit includes a first peak amplifier, where an input end of the first peak amplifier is connected to a first input end of the circuit, and a first mean amplifier, where an input end of the first mean amplifier is connected to a second input end of the circuit, and an output end of the first mean amplifier is connected to an input end of a first matching unit. The circuit also includes a second peak amplifier, where an input end of the second peak amplifier is connected to the first input end of the circuit; and a second mean amplifier, where an input end of the second mean amplifier is connected to the second input end of the circuit, and an output end of the second mean amplifier is connected to an input end of the second matching unit.

Balanced Doherty power amplifier circuit and radio transmitter

A high-efficiency power amplifier is provided, including a drive amplifier and a final power amplifier, and further including a first digital pre-distortion (DPD) correction module and a second DPD correction module. The first DPD correction module is configured to pre-distort nonlinear characteristics of drive signals output by the drive amplifier, and the second DPD correction module is connected to the first DPD correction module in series, and is configured to pre-distort nonlinear characteristics of amplified signals output by the final power amplifier. Another high-efficiency power amplifier is also provided, including a drive amplifier and a final power amplifier, and further including a second multi-path control module, a fourth DPD correction module, and a second gating module. The overall efficiency of the high-efficiency power amplifier is increased by improving the working efficiency of the drive amplifier. Further, higher overall efficiency is also achieved for a power amplifier with a higher gain.
