A container screening device () including: a star wheel () arranged on or above a conveyance surface () on which inspection objects () are conveyed and having an outer periphery formed with plural housing portions () configured to house the inspection objects (); a rotation shaft () arranged under the conveyance surface () and configured to rotate with the star wheel (); a bearing portion () rotatably supporting the rotation shaft (); air holes () extending through interiors of the star wheel () and the rotation shaft () and communicating with the rotation shaft () and the housing portions (); and an air coupling () fixed to a periphery of the rotation shaft () and configured to generate suction force in the air holes () to suck the inspection objects () to the housing portions ().
