A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of subpixels; a feedback part; and a power source configured to output a first power voltage to the feedback part and the display panel, in which the feedback part is configured to output a virtual feedback voltage to the power source, the virtual feedback voltage being based on the first power, and the power source is further configured to adjust a magnitude of the first power voltage to generate an adjusted first power voltage based on the virtual feedback voltage.

A pixel for an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display and an OLED display are discussed. The pixel includes a driving transistor, a first transistor, a scan transistor, a first emission control transistor, and an initialization control transistor. The driving transistor includes a gate electrode connected to a first node, a drain electrode connected to a second node, and a source electrode connected to a third node. The first transistor is connected between the first node and the second node. The scan transistor is connected between the third node and a data line. The first emission control transistor is connected between the second node and an anode electrode of an organic light emitting diode. The initialization control transistor is connected between an input terminal of an initialization voltage and the anode electrode of the organic light emitting diode.

The present disclosure relates to a compensation method of a display device and the display device having a compensation value storage unit, and more particularly, to a method of performing the compensation by changing a compensation density for pixels included in the display device, and the display device having a storage unit for storing a compensation value for performing the method. According to the present disclosure, the compensation method is provided that includes dividing a display panel into a foveated area and a non-foveated area; performing high-density compensation for a plurality of pixels in the foveated area; and performing low-density compensation for a plurality of pixels in the non-foveated area.

An organic light emitting diode display and a method for driving the same are disclosed. The organic light emitting diode display includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a display panel driver configured to drive signal lines of the display panel, and a timing controller configured to divide one frame into a plurality of subframes, convert data of an input image into a bit pattern, map the bit pattern to the plurality of subframes, control an operation of the display panel driver, and adjust a writing speed for writing data and/or an erase speed for turning off pixels of the plurality of pixels during at least one compensation subframe of the plurality of subframes such that the write speed and the erase speed are different from each other.

A special mode processor drives a display panel to display an image. A data driver supplies a data signal to a display panel to control luminance of a plurality of pixels. The data signal comprises a plurality of frames, and each of the frames comprises a plurality of sub-frames. Each of the sub-frames comprises an addressing time, followed by an emission time, followed by an erase time. Subpixels each include a first scan line switch controlled by the first scan line signal to turn on during the addressing time of each sub-frame and to turn off during the emission time and the erase time of each sub-frame. A second scan line switch is controlled by a second scan line signal to provide a discharge path to discharge the storage capacitor during the erase time of each sub-frame.
