The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device for controlling an IoT device. The method includes: receiving detection data reported by an IoT device; verifying device control information based on the detection data; and sending, in response to second data in the device control information being successfully verified, a control instruction configured for execution of a pending action to the IoT device to be controlled based on first data.
