The current invention relates to a novel class of alkyl alcohol amines where the amine is a primary amine. Embodiments relate to a method of controlling microbial growth in metal working fluids, comprising adding such an alkyl alcohol amine to the metal working fluid. Other embodiments relate to semi-synthetic metal working fluid compositions which include the microbial growth control agent comprising this particular class of alkyl alcohol amines.

The present invention provides a remote trigger device, a speed limiter assembly having the same and an elevator. The remote trigger device for the speed limiter assembly comprises: an actuator; and a rotating component, the rotating component being capable of rotating around a rotating axis in a rotating plane, the rotating component being actuated by the actuator to rotate from an idle position to a working position. During rotation of the speed limiter assembly, at the idle position, the rotating component is kept separated from an over-speed locking mechanism of the speed limiter assembly, and at the working position, the rotating component toggles a trigger member of the over-speed locking mechanism of the speed limiter assembly to trigger the speed limiter assembly. The structure of the remote trigger device according to the present invention is compact and simple.

The present invention provides a governor assembly and an elevator, wherein the governor assembly includes: a support; a first axle rotatably supported by the support; a main pulley rotatably mounted on the first axle relative to the first axle; a first guide pulley near the main pulley; a first safety device actuated by the rotation of the first axle; and a centrifugal tripping mechanism which enables, when a rotating speed of the main pulley exceeds a preset value, the main pulley and the first axle to be coupled and rotate together. The present invention relates to the technical field of an elevator, and provides a governor of an elevator. The governor of the present invention is provided with a reset push part which is disposed on a ratchet wheel and is used for resetting the governor from a second state to a first state, wherein the reset push part and a pawl of the governor are set in such a manner that when a rope sheave rotates in a direction, the reset push part pushes the pawl to reset the pawl to a position corresponding to the first state.

A method for predicting high-temperature operating life of an integrated circuit (IC) includes performing bias temperature instability tests and high-temperature operating life tests on a device of the IC, establishing a relationship between the device bias temperature instability and the IC's high-temperature operating life based on a result of the bias temperature instability tests and the high-temperature operating life tests. The method further includes providing a lot of subsequent integrated circuits (ICs), performing wafer-level bias temperature instability tests on a device of the ICs, and predicting high-temperature operating life of the ICs based on a result of the wafer-level bias temperature instability tests and based on the established relationship between the device's bias temperature instability and the IC's high-temperature operating life. The method can save significant effort and time over conventional approaches for accurate prediction of high-temperature operating life of an IC.
