A battery rack includes: a housing; a module unit provided in the housing, including a plurality of battery cells, and having at least one vent hole; and a cooling unit provided to face the vent hole in the housing, and including a cooling line in which a coolant is provided, wherein the cooling line is provided so that at least a portion of an outer periphery thereof is melted by heat generated from the module unit to supply the coolant toward the vent hole.

A battery module includes a battery sub-module including a cell support member, at least one battery cell accommodated in the cell support member, and a case provided to partially surround the at least one battery cell, and a first barrier disposed on a first side of the battery sub-module, wherein the at least one battery cell is enclosed and sealed by the cell support member and the case, and the first barrier includes a first protrusion configured to press a part of the case inwardly of the battery sub-module.

A battery module includes a cell support unit accommodating at least one or more secondary battery cells, a body frame member on which a plurality of the cell support units are installed, and a cover member disposed between adjacent cell support units. The cover member includes a fixed plate portion fixed between the adjacent cell support units, and a flip portion connected to the fixed plate portion and disposed between electrode tabs of the secondary battery cells adjacent to each other to separate a space between the electrode tabs externally, the flip portion being pushed by internal gas or flame of the secondary battery cells discharged due to rupturing of the secondary battery cells, to be position-moved so that the space between the electrode tabs communicate externally.

The present invention provides a battery charge/discharge control device including a contactor driver which is on/off controlled according to AN output signal of a micro control unit (MCU), a contactor coil through which current flows according to an on/off state of the contactor driver, and whose one end is electrically connected to the contactor driver and the other end is electrically connected to a power source, and a contactor which is turned on by the current flowing through the contactor coil so as to perform charging and discharging of the battery.

The system includes: a plurality of battery racks configured to store power; and a panel configured to control charging or discharging of the plurality of battery racks, where each battery rack includes: a plurality of battery modules configured to store the power; a control module connected to each battery module and the panel to control the charging or discharging of each battery module according to a control signal received from the panel; a conversion module connected to the control module to convert waveforms of the power into direct current or alternating current according to a control signal received from the control module; and a casing configured to accommodate each battery module, the conversion module, and the control module. In addition, the plurality of battery modules and the battery power management unit integrally constitute each battery rack.
