A battery cell having an electrode tab with enhanced safety and improved cooling performance, and a battery module, a battery pack and a vehicle including the same is provided. The battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a cell body and an electrode tab provided to at least one side of the cell body, a cell case configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, an electrode lead drawn out of the cell case and connected to the electrode assembly through the electrode tab at a coupling portion, and a tab protection module accommodated in the cell case and covering at least a part of the electrode tab, the tab protection module including a heat dissipating material configured to discharge heat to the outside through at least a part thereof.

Provided is a method for determining the wetting degree of a lithium ion battery cell using a low current test. The wetting degree determination method according to the present disclosure includes a) obtaining, as a reference charge profile, a charge profile recorded while charging a reference battery cell having undergone receiving an electrode assembly and an electrolyte solution in a case, assembling and pre-aging with a low current of 0.01 C-rate or less, b) measuring and recording a charge profile while charging another battery cell having undergone receiving an electrode assembly and an electrolyte solution in a case, assembling and pre-aging with a low current of 0.01 C-rate or less in the same way as the reference battery cell, and c) determining the wetting degree of another battery cell relative to the reference battery cell by comparative analysis of the reference charge profile and the measured charge profile.

Disclosed is the structure of a center pin inserted into the winding center of a winding-type electrode assembly of an electrochemical device, which has a case containing the winding-type electrode assembly. The center pin can be manufactured through a simple process and can secure the safety of an electrochemical device when physical impact (e.g. squeezing, shock) is applied from the outside or when the internal temperature rises. Disclosed is a method for preparing a lithium-metal composite oxide, the method comprising the steps of: (a) mixing an aqueous solution of one or more transition metal-containing precursor compounds with an alkalifying agent and a lithium precursor compound to precipitate hydroxides of the transition metals; (b) mixing the mixture of step (a) with water under supercritical or subcritical conditions to synthesize a lithium-metal composite oxide, and drying the lithium-metal composite oxide; and (c) subjecting the dried lithium-metal composite oxide either to calcination or to granulation and then calcination. Also disclosed are an electrode comprising the lithium-metal composite oxide, and an electrochemical device comprising the electrode. In the disclosed invention, a lithium-metal composite oxide synthesized based on the prior supercritical hydrothermal synthesis method is subjected either to calcination or to granulation and then calcination. Thus, unlike the prior dry calcination method or wet precipitation method, a uniform solid solution can be formed and the ordering of metals in the composite oxide can be improved. Accordingly, the lithium-metal composite oxide can show crystal stability and excellent electrochemical properties.

Provided is an apparatus and method for estimating inverse channel of a repeater's receiving channel, which ensures stability and causality by generating a time-domain filter coefficient having information on an inverse channel of repeater's receiving channel from a signal transmitted from a main transmitter or another repeater. The apparatus includes: a channel estimator for estimating a channel established by a transmission path from a received signal; an inverse minimum phase filter coefficient generator for generating inverse channel of a minimum phase channel from the estimated channel, and converting the inverse channel of the minimum phase channel into a time-domain filter coefficient; an inverse group delay filter coefficient generator for generating a time-domain filter coefficient by using the estimated channel and the minimum phase channel; and a combiner for generating an inverse channel of a receiving channel in a time domain by combining the filter coefficient and the filter coefficient.

Provided is an on-channel repeater capable of removing feedback signals based on pilot partitioning, which can efficiently remove a feedback signal by quickly coping with even a situation in which a feedback channel changes rapidly, by reducing a filter-coefficient update interval, i.e., increasing the number of times of filter-coefficient creation, through pilot partitioning, and a method thereof.
