A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine; a driving motor/generator connected to an output shaft of the engine; a connection unit disposed between the engine and the driving motor/generator to separate the engine from the driving motor/generator when the engine is stopped and to connect the engine to the driving motor/generator when the engine is operated; a manual transmission connected to the driving motor/generator, for directly varying gear ratio without using an engine clutch according to a driving speed and a torque generated by the driving motor/generator and/or the engine; a position sensor for detecting a position of a manual gearshift lever; and a central control unit connected to the engine, the driving motor/generator, the connection unit, and the manual transmission. In order to perform a gearshift of the manual transmission, the central control unit separates the connection unit disposed between the engine and the driving motor/generator when the vehicle is stopped or driven at a preset speed or lower or connects the connection unit when the vehicle is driven at the preset speed or higher, and controls the driving motor/generator and/or the engine according to the detected position of the manual gearshift lever to adjust a speed of an input shaft of the manual transmission.

Disclosed herein is a femoral broaching apparatus for use in preparing a femoral cavity for implantation of a prosthetic joint in surgical orthopedic artificial hip joint replacement arthroplasty procedures. The apparatus comprises a fixing guide unit fixed in the femoral cavity by an interference fit, a cavity preparing broach coupled to the fixing guide unit in a longitudinally movable manner, and a vibration-generating unit coupled to the cavity preparing broach for allowing the cavity preparing broach to perform the preparing of the femoral cavity under operation of the fixing guide unit. According to the present invention, a femoral cavity having an intended accurate shape can be easily prepared using mechanical vibration rather than a manual operation, thereby ensuring operational convenience. Further, since the preparing of the femoral cavity is performed under axial guiding operation of a fixing guide unit, the shape accuracy of the resulting femoral cavity as well as the positional accuracy of a tool, such as a surgical broach, can be improved.

A robot mounting apparatus for a hip joint operation robot capable of firmly attaching a hip joint operation robot to a femur in order for operation robot to perform an accurate femoral canal cavity operation, and a hip joint operation robot system using the same. The robot mounting apparatus for a hip joint operation robot, comprising: a fixing means for fixing to a femur, including: a bar having a predetermined length and being arranged in perpendicular to a femur; and a seizing means having a predetermined shape for seizing the femur, the seizing means forms at an end of the bar; an installation unit having a predetermined shaped for installing the operation robot thereon, the installation unit is positioned near an end portion of the femur; and a link having a predetermined length for connecting the installation unit and the bar of the fixing means, the link is installed in parallel with respect to a longitudinal direction of the femur. The hip joint operation robot system employs the robot mounting apparatus and the robot firmly mounted on the robot mounting apparatus.

A pulley type constant velocity joint may include first and second shafts for transmitting and receiving power therebetween, first and second pulleys being fixedly attached to ends of the first and second shafts, respectively, and first and second wires wound around circumferential grooves of the first and second pulleys to allow the first and second pulleys to be rotated with reference to the center of the first and second pulleys. Further, first and second support frames may be included for rotatably supporting each center of the first and second pulleys, both ends of which are rotatably connected to each other. The constant velocity joint may also include two rotating pins to rotatably connect the first and second pulleys and the frames at the centers of the first and second pulleys, and two connecting pins for connecting the first and the second frames at their ends and for allowing rotation of the frames.

An artificial joint is capable of harmoniously connecting the artificial joint, cement and a bone and facilitating effusion of the cement at the time of implantation, as well as diminishing the stress applied thereto. The artificial joint includes a head, a neck and a stem, the stem being coated in advance with cement so as to easily bond the cement to cement filled in a bone cavity of a human femur. An effusion path for effusing the cement filled in the bone cavity is formed in a longitudinal direction on a surface of the cement coated on the stem so that the cement filled in the bone cavity of the human femur can be easily effused upward through the effusion path when the stem is inserted.

Disclosed herewith is a prosthetic foot. The prosthetic foot is to be connected to a pylon that is utilized for the substitution of the shinbone of an amputee. The prosthetic foot includes an ankle portion to be secured to the pylon. A plurality of curved portions are extended from one end of the ankle portion. A sole portion is extended from one end of the curved portions. The ankle portion, the curved portions and the sole portion form a single integrated plate spring structure.
