Methods of the present inventions allow for verifying the authenticity of social website accounts. An example embodiment of a domain name control based social website account authentication method may comprise the steps of receiving a request (that may include a business name and a business email address) to verify the authenticity of a social website account, determining whether the domain name used by the business email address is registered to and under control of the business, and&#x2014;if so&#x2014;certifying the authenticity of the social website account.

One embodiment of a system of present invention includes means for obtaining an image from a requester, means for obtaining contact information for vouching people, whom requester identifies as having personal knowledge of the requester, and means for sending an electronic message to the vouching people, with a link to an image lineup. The image lineup contains the image obtained from the requester and other images. The system further includes means for receiving a selection choice from the vouching people, identifying whether the image in the image lineup depicts the requester, and means for calculating a statistical rating of a likelihood that the image obtained from the requester depicts him/her.

A heat exchanger is disclosed having a plurality of stacked plate pairs or tubes, each having a predetermined internal cold flow resistance. A bypass conduit is included in the stack of plate pairs or tubes. The bypass conduit includes a central row of spaced-apart, mating dimples defining longitudinal flow channels on either side of the dimples for bypass flow through the bypass conduit under cold flow conditions. The longitudinal flow channels have a height and width such that the cold flow resistance therethrough is less than the cold flow resistance through the stacked plate pairs or tubes. In normal or hot flow conditions, the dimples create flow resistance by forcing the fluid flowing through the bypass conduit to change velocity and direction. This forces more oil to flow through the stacked plate pairs or tubes increasing heat transfer performance.

The length of fluid travel from one finned component to an abutting finned component along the heat transfer surface is controlled in order to prevent development of thermal boundary layer on the inner surface of the finned assembly components.

An improved apparatus for dispensing cooled, heated or ambient temperature liquids from a liquid tank which contains therein a cold sink member for maintaining the liquid at a preselected temperature. The cold sink member may be formed in the shape of a cup-like finned member or a tree-like shaped member having outwardly extending fingers in order to greatly increase the transfer of heat energy within the liquid tank and to reduce the thickness of boundary layer formation in the cold sink member. The apparatus includes adapter means operable to supply separately controlled, selective dispensing of any of the chilled, heated, or ambient temperature liquids.
