A piston pump assembly of an electronic controlled brake device for a vehicle includes: an inlet housing configured to accommodate a reciprocating piston and elastically support the piston; an outlet housing configured to accommodate the inlet housing and form a working chamber that allows a working fluid to be introduced from the inlet housing; an outlet ball valve accommodated in the working chamber to open and close a flow passage of the working fluid that is introduced from the inlet housing to the outlet housing; an outlet spring accommodated in the working chamber to elastically support the outlet ball valve toward the inlet housing; and a damper accommodated in the working chamber and mounted within the outlet spring to allow shape deformation while contacting the outlet ball valve. When the outlet ball valve is pushed and pressed toward an end of the working chamber, the damper generates viscous damping while discharging the accommodated working fluid into the working chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to actively reduce noise or vibration upon initial operation of the electronic controlled brake device or in a low frequency section, thereby improving ride comfort.

Piston pump assembly of electronic controlled brake device for vehicle

Disclosed herein is a pedal simulator for an active brake system. The pedal simulator includes a simulator block provided therein with a bore, a first reaction unit including a first reaction piston slidably installed in the bore, a first damping member installed at the first reaction piston, and a first reaction spring compressed by the first reaction piston, and a second reaction unit including a second reaction piston provided in the bore to support the first reaction spring and slide in the bore, a damping housing connected to the simulator block to be spaced a certain distance apart from the second reaction piston, a second reaction spring installed between the second reaction piston and the damping housing to be compressed by the second reaction piston, and a second damping member installed in the damping housing to contact the second reaction piston. The second damping member is configured with an upper damper and a lower damper.

Pedal simulator for active brake system

Disclosed is an electro-hydraulic brake system including a master cylinder to generate hydraulic pressure according to pedal force applied to a brake pedal, a reservoir provided at an upper portion of the master cylinder to store oil, an intermediate pressure accumulator to store hydraulic pressure, a first motor and a first pump to suction oil through a channel connected to the reservoir and discharge the suctioned oil to the accumulator to create hydraulic pressure in the intermediate pressure accumulator in braking, a second motor and a second pump provided at an output side of the intermediate pressure accumulator to increase responsiveness in braking, two hydraulic circuits, each of the hydraulic circuits being connected to two wheels, and a flow control valve and a pressure reducing valve provided between the intermediate pressure accumulator and the two hydraulic circuits to control pressure transmitted from the intermediate pressure accumulator to a wheel cylinder installed at each of the wheels.

Electro-hydraulic brake system

Disclosed is an integrated electronic hydraulic brake system including an actuator having a master cylinder and a pedal simulator, an electronic stability control (ESC), and a hydraulic power unit (HPU) which are configured as a single unit. The integrated electronic hydraulic brake system may include an integrated hydraulic control unit and a power source unit, wherein the power source unit is separately provided to isolate the operational noise, and the integrated hydraulic control unit and the power source unit are connected to each other via an external pipe.

The solenoid valve for a brake system includes a seat housing installed at a bore of a modulator block and provided with a through hole formed therethrough, a valve seat installed at the through hole of the seat housing and provided with an orifice, a sleeve provided with a hollow and connected to the seat housing, a magnetic core, an armature installed at the sleeve, and a return spring installed in the sleeve, wherein the armature includes an upper armature formed of a magnetic material, and a lower armature formed of a non-magnetic material, wherein the through hole of the seat housing is provided with a guide region having a diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the lower armature.

Solenoid valve for brake system

A pump of an electronically controlled brake system. The pump includes a bore formed in a modulator block and connected with a suction port and a discharge port, a piston installed in the bore in a reciprocating movable manner and defining an inlet path therein, an inlet valve to open or close an exit-side end of the inlet path according to a position of the piston, and an outlet valve provided at one side of the bore, operations of the inlet and outlet valves being contrary to each other. The outlet valve includes a valve seat, a sleeve to surround the valve seat, an outlet ball interposed between the sleeve and the valve seat and used to open or close a path defined in the valve seat, and a valve cap provided at one side of the sleeve to isolate an interior from an exterior of the bore. One or more of the valve sheet, sleeve, and valve cap are formed by press-forming, to achieve improved assembly efficiency and reduced manufacturing costs.

Pump of electronically controlled brake system

A pump including a bore formed in a modulator block and connected with a suction port and a discharge port is provided. The pump includes a piston installed in the bore in a reciprocating movable manner and defining an inlet path therein, an inlet valve to open or close an exit-side end of the inlet path according to a position of the piston, and an outlet valve provided at one side of the bore, operations of the inlet and outlet valves being contrary to each other. The outlet valve includes a valve seat, a sleeve to surround the valve seat, an outlet ball interposed between the sleeve and the valve seat and used to open or close a path defined in the valve seat, and a valve cap provided at one side of the sleeve to isolate an interior from an exterior of the bore.

A hydraulic unit of an electronic control brake system capable of achieving compactness of a modulator block by optimizing connection between components and valves, which are mounted in the modulator block, is disclosed. The hydraulic unit of an electronic control brake system includes a modulator block mounted with components to control braking hydraulic pressure applied to wheels of an automobile, including a plurality of inflow and outflow valves, a traction control valve, a shuttle valve, an accumulator, a pump and a motor. The modulator block is formed with oil lines thereinside to connect the components. The modulator block has a hexahedral shape. A wheel cylinder connecting part is disposed at a first surface of the modulator block, and a master cylinder connecting part is disposed at a second surface of the modulator block. Accordingly, a width of the surface, at which the wheel cylinder connecting part is disposed, can be decreased. Since the traction control valve is positioned above the shuttle valve at a rear surface of the modulator block, and the motor is positioned at a center portion of the modulator block, an overall size of the modulator block becomes compact.

Hydraulic unit of electronic control brake system

A solenoid valve for a brake system, which has a simplified configuration and can be easily manufactured with reduced manufacturing costs. The solenoid valve includes valve seat member integrally formed with a seat portion having a first orifice, an opening/closing member slidably installed in the valve seat member, the opening/closing member having an inner passage formed through the opening/closing member, an outer passage formed at an outer surface of the opening/closing member, a second orifice formed at one end of the opening/closing member, the second orifice having a smaller diameter than that of the first orifice, and a first opening/closing portion formed at the other end of the opening/closing member to open or close the first orifice, an opening spring to move the opening/closing member, for opening of the first orifice, a sleeve having a first end coupled to an outer surface of the valve seat member and a flange formed at the first end so as to be fixed to a modulator block, a valve core coupled to a second end of the sleeve, opposite to the first end of the sleeve, an armature slidably mounted in the sleeve, the armature having a second opening/closing portion to open or close the second orifice, and a restoring spring to press the armature toward the second orifice.
